Food 4 Less — Local services in Fairfield

I recently had an incredibly disappointing and intimidating experience at the Food 4 Less located at 1833 North Texas Fairfield Ca, 94533.

An employee name Jose Lopez and Tommy Lugali and a host of other employees. They were very dismissive and very sarcastic I told them I wouldn’t leave until they gave me a valid explanation as to why.

The reason why: was because a dismantled customer stated I hit her kids with a buggy! And the claim was FALSE. several witnesses observed and reported that to the managers.

What made the situation worse was how dismissive and confrontational the staff became when I tried to address the issue. Instead of resolving my concerns, I felt belittled and unwelcome. It’s one thing to deal with a mistake or misunderstanding, but the lack of respect and professionalism was shocking.

As a customer, I expect to feel valued and respected when shopping, and unfortunately, this store did not meet even the most basic standards of service. I will not be returning, and I recommend others think twice before shopping here.

Food 4 Less needs to seriously reconsider how they train their staff in customer service. Until then, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Jose the GM was friendly and cares about the customer experience. He stopped me to have a conversation and know what I liked most about the store. Nita at self checkout was on point! She had everything running smooth anticipating everyone's needs during the busy time, she was friendly and courteous while doing so. When I accidentally broke something I paid for 3 associates were on it right away. Booker, a young man, and Traci all helped me quickly and even went to get my product for me. I always do my grocery shopping from there and from January to December I buy cakes from there 2 or 3 times every month coz my family is big and everyone birthdays on 7/7/2025 I went to go get cake they refused to serve me a cake just because they had short ppl to work there so then why u have cakes at the bakery if u don’t sale it u should remove the bakery or sale the cake if u already have it ready just to pake it and give not very hard job to do .
