The staff is always pretty friendly, and the service is quick despite being busy. My friend and I like to linger around and chat after we finish eating, and we felt no rush from the servers to leave. We even were offered to get our drinks refilled after we already paid when it became clear we hadn't planned to leave just yet.
The food is alright. Nothing spectacular, but good enough to entice me to come back again. They were serving their new French toasted donuts and, while they were good, I found myself disappointed. They were much smaller than an average donut, and though "French toasting" them did give them an extra crispy outside, I didn't find them especially enjoyable. I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from trying them, because they are quite delicious. But, I personally, would have rather gotten my usual favorite.
Their splasher drinks are always enjoyable and quite different from the usual suspects one would find on a restaurant menu, but they do also have the normal fountain drinks, coffee, orange juice, and milk, if that's your thing. Although for the juice and milk, you don't get free refills, and the cups are small. On the other hand, they do offer endless coffee for a small price per person. If you're a big coffee drinker, then that's good news for you. I'm not so big on the stuff, so I myself have never taken advantage.
Overall, it's a pretty enjoyable restaurant. Nice, cozy ambience. Friendly staff. Delicious, though not spectacular food. Short wait times, even when busy. They even offer call ahead food for pick up, if you aren't looking to sit down.
I have been plenty of times, and shall go plenty more. I most definitely...
Read moreHere is my experience with ihop. Been going to Ihop for quite sometime and have had good service not the best but ahhh well pancakes are really what i go for anyway. With that I went to this establishment and only had a coffee on October 26. When I went to check out my bill was 3.80 and ended up being charged for 4.10 first on accident but the server realized what he did so fixed it. but then after I had left the establish I was charged 27.53 So I though well this is not what I paid for and so a few days later I had walked in with 3 other Friends and were military by the way so I thought to talk with the manager of said establishment of what was going on. She wasnt there...... and so the emplyee on duty which was the employee that was there the day it was charged and i took it up with him on the subject and he called the manager. Manager had told the employee that I could eat free and they would take care of what was charged the other day.
Here comes the good part the manger had actually taken away the military discount for our entire party just so she could recoup what she was going to lose out on from me eating free for a mistake that they still have not refunded to this day so I have to pay another visit.
Won't eat here again cause of the blatant disrespect for military and my Friends just because they were with me. Don't offer a discount just to take it away when you mess up another persons finances. Also don't say o its buy one get one free type of deal just so you can recoup expenses off my friends....
Read moreMy family of 5 went out to eat here and it looked like a pretty slow night(looks can be deceiving), our waiter was a tall Caucasian male, with a beard sat us, and we Ordered our food, and waited for 20 mins and the first two plates came out. After receiving the first two plates, another plate came every 15-20 mins. Except one plate, that came an hour after we ordered. During the time we were waiting for the last plate. my husband was brought someone elses meal, it was taken back. Then the waiter brought another plate that had the wrong pancakes, we attempted to tell the gentleman that this is not what we ordered and he kept telling us we did, we went back and forth 3 or 4 times until my husband said it's fine don't worry(side note; we always go to IHOP and never order regular pancakes, which that is what was brought). I had to request silverware, I ordered an apple juice which I gave up waiting for and just shared my husband's drink, and then I had to ask for my son's yogurt, and as I'm asking for napkins and ketchup he is already walking away. When he brought the last plate he said he would give us a discount on the last meal. I wasn't satisfied but I thought " at least he's trying", when we got the bill, no discount so we paid $61.We just paid the bill and left. I just want to say that if someone could've told us about them possibly being understaffed, or behind, it would've been a little better, but he sort of avoided us while we waited and brought each plate except the last one with nothing to say...
