707 Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Fairfield

Kind of a ghetto bar. They call it a karaoke lounge but I came 12:30 am on a Friday and there was neither karaoke nor lounge. I don't know if they were renovating on the night I came or something but there weren't many places to just sit and relax. I sat down at the bar and it took about 9 or 10 minutes just to get acknowledged. The regulars are a bit stuck up. There were 2 women in their 30s dancing on the dancefloor which wreked of B.O. and one of them was a fiance and the other one said she was with friends and didn't want to talk. The people in there are not a friendly group of people. I was excited to bring a group of friends in their 20s there to expand our night life and they took one look in there after being frisked by a bouncer and deemed it smelly and ghetto. The girls actually said they felt place was giving off a dangerous vibe. Maybe it was because the questionable characters lurking in the parking lot, but it was made very clear they didn't feel safe. I've gone to this place several times now, I gotta say, it's a nice hang out spot. It's small but perfect.... I especially love the fact that they serve IPA's and you can order it in a pitchers too!!!! I love IPA's lol!!!! Music is usually hip-hop/rap.... so not much dancing going on (because booty poppin and twerking isn't dancing) but who cares, they've got BEEEEEER!!!!! For some reason this bar is listed as a karaoke spot as well, but I have yet to see that. Overall, bartender is a pretty cool dude. He's laid back, and cute too lol..... so if he were gay..... or not..... I'd totally still hit that 😂😂😂😂 lol Warning: Hip-Hop/Rap Concert Nights are 9 times outta ten OK just so long as you know how to maintain your cool and not bring any B.S to the place, WE PAYING CUSTOMERS don't like it when the place gets shut down early because of curtain out of towners who like to stir up stuff and ruin it for the rest of us. Ceiling coming down, men's restroom closed, no heat (it's winter, 40 degrees out), $5 well highball, served in a plastic cup(non-breakable glassware). There is a scissor lift parked near one of the pool tables(huh?) The other bars in town charge $3-$3.50 for the same drink (in glass), and offer atmosphere, climate-control, AND restrooms.
