Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Fairfield

We go to Jersey Mike's frequently - about 1x per month. Tonight I ordered on my Phone, the order said 22 minutes. I showed up about 25-30 minutes after placing the order. I walked up to the pickup area - two new customers followed me through the door. There were no current customers.

There were three staff, all in the back. A large rolling cart full of bread and one female staff eating behind it. I could see the cold sub I had ordered hasn't been made. The male employee was visibly annoyed that nobody had made it (including him), I questioned why it wasn't made. The place was DISGUSTING and dirty. Full size bread on the floor, food dripping off the counter and three employees sitting on their rear ends.

His first words to me were "do you want it or a refund" I wanted the sub, because it was for my son, in second thought I should have left because looking back at these photos I'm now worried he could get sick.

All three of these employees should be reprimanded and taught better safe food handling practices. If the owner doesn't have this place on 24/7 surveillance for how their employees keep the place up, they should or jersey mikes corporate should shut the place down.

What a terrible representation of...

I was highly disappointed in my visit to this Cordelia location today. I bought 2 Giant sandwiches paying $30. I frequent Jersey Mikes because I've always been impressed with the amount of meat they use; it makes it worth the out-of-my-way trip and the cost. However, today the lady making my Turkey sandwich barely covered the bread with the turkey. I told her it didn't look correct to me, compared with all the othes Ive bought here. She told me it was correct that she had weighed it, but I WATCHED HER MAKE IT AND SHE DIDN'T WEIGH ANYTHING. I explained again there was not the normal amount of turkey, to which she shrugged, didmissed me, and moved on to to next customer. I didn't want to make a scene or hold up the line so I expressed my dissatisfaction, paid and left. Basically I paid $30 for 2 foot long bread n lettuce sandwiches and horrible customer service! Always have to stop going to and coming from Court. Their Rosemary bread is not too pugnacious in flavor. I stay with the #13 substitute the pepperoni for turkey and ask them to grill the bread only. I always add the pepper relish for kick and flava and nothing like extra on the shredded lettuce, which not many sandwich shops here in Cali have. At 2 a.m., I'mhaving wide awake dreams, ready to go back! Since COVID, I've been asking others to get for me and they never disappoint. Also, they have the freshest Tastykake products!

The place is as close to authentic and fresh (slice fresh right then and tgere!) as the East coast can get. Actually 5☆s with exception of location. A 30 minute drive!! Costs a fortune (i.e. a house pmt..just kidding) to get Uber eats..lol

Go early to the San Pablo location to avoid disappointment of being out on the Rosemary...
