Mira s Cafe — Restaurant in Fairfield

I have eaten here three times. Two times, I ordered the Dosa Thali. It's a beautiful, delicious platter that includes a large dosa filled with potatoes, but other fillings are also offered. It includes three excellent chutneys, a cup of wonderful soup, and a tasty dessert. It's a fantastic, satisfying meal.

The Masala Dosa, which I've also enjoyed, is like the Dosa Thali, but it includes fewer chutneys; it does not include the salad or the dessert, and it costs less. It's great, but I will usually order the Dosa Thali because it's such a fun, unusual experience.

A friend who was with me ordered a pizza one time and a calzone another time. She liked both of them very much.

We love this restaurant. The food is delicious, healthy, and pleasantly exotic, and the employees are cordial and helpful. There are fewer bookshelves on the walls now than when Revelations was here. We ordered 3 pizzas a sandwich and soup, when our food came out, after we waited for almost 50 minutes, we only received 2 of our pizzas, when we asked about our 3rd pizza they said they were OUT of pizzas for the day. So they made us an extra sandwich in place of the pizza. Half of our group enjoyed their food but the other half was severely disappointed. For 4 people to eat it was $80. No refunds were given and the workers didn't seem to feel very bad. Lastly, some of the workers just seemed almost incompetent, for example when they brought out our 2 sandwich in place of the pizza, the worker walked outside near where we were sitting, took one look around, and walked back inside with our food somehow missing the fact the we were yelling to get his attention. 2/10 Will not be back. Loved the food here. Wife and I came on an icy, cold freezing rain night. I ordered the Punjabi Thali and my Wife ordered the Masala Dosa. We absolutely loved the food. I love Indian food, its one of my favorites if not thee favorite. My meal was a range of different little dishes id never had before and it was excellent, loved it all. My wife’s Dosa was excellent also. Was even better when dipping it in the two sauces that came with it.
