Panda Garden — Restaurant in Fairfield

Although the food is good, personally, I believe customer service makes it or breaks it. I order from this place often because the food is good but recently customer service has been very poor. This is not the first time that I have been treated poorly while placing a pick up order. The first time I brushed it off, even though I was very rudely hung up while placing my order and didn’t even get to compete it. I did not return to this place for nearly a year after this. Today, I placed a pickup order over the phone … only to receive the same attitude. The person taking my order was rudely rushing me and when I asked about something that I saw on their menu she puffed and raised her voice at me. I was only hoping to try something new and asked one question, she did not have to raise her voice at me. She asked me once again to tell her my order, which I did, then say “thank you” and hung up on me. I was not told how long it would take from my food to be ready for pick nor did she give me my total. She was simply very rude. With customer service like this, this business will quickly start to drive their customers away. I don’t need anyone treating me poorly to then pay them for that kind of service. This was just unacceptable and very much upsetting. I don’t believe I’ll be ordering from here anymore and I will surely stop...

First of all, the table top was not clean. I was the only patron dining in & they were not buisy at the time. No reason not to have had the time to prepare a table for the next guest. Eggrolls are unusually small.The noodles & pork within the Wantan soup taste like inferior product, although the Wanton broth of the soup was delicious. I just drank the soup broth. The shrimp, within the shrimp fried rice smelled slightly fishy. Also, the cook did not properly complete the stir-fry process which had left me wondering why some of the shrimp were genuinely cold. The prices (in my humble opinion) are on the high side for an establishment which concentrates more on profit than quality food products & proper preparation. So, the morning after this peticular meal, it had left me with a headache & an unusualIy sore back of my neck, & that "I had ate something bad "blah-zey" feeling. I actually have been a huge fan of panda garden till this evening. I bought fried shrimp and fries for my kid and she bit into one and the entire poop vein was not only still completely intact but all of them were like that. They were so unapetizing and of course my kid wouldn't eat them. I also ordered beef fried rice but because of that menu set up that brings up beef or shrimp, somehow got shrimp instead of beef. Im so disappointed over their food quality. Whats upsetting is the fact that they knew people wont see the vein so they didnt bother to clean them. I know this because my shrimp lo mein were cleaned, so i dont understand why they would just skip the fried ones. This leaves me to wonder what else they cut corners on.
