To be honest, I went to this place with pretty low expectations. You generally don't get good barbecue in Ohio, and definitely not from a chain like this one. The food was actually pretty decent for the most part though- I ended up really liking the macaroni and cheese, and my dad liked the brisket a lot. I think that we would have probably had a good experience if we didn't get takeout. But since we did get takeout, our experience was pretty bad. My dad ordered our food to be picked up at 5:45 P.M., and we got there a little early. Our food was still already done, which would normally be great. Unfortunately, it wasn't because instead of being kept warm somewhere until we got there, it was out on a shelf for easy pickup. It meant that we could just grab it and go, which was great, but it was also pretty lukewarm by the time we got home. When we got home, we realized that we didn't get one of the main items that we ordered, and my dad called the number on the receipt to try and get a refund for it. Instead of calling the local place so we could talk to someone there, it transferred us to the main corporate line, which was already closed at 6 o'clock. I understand that this place just opened, so that they probably don't have everything sorted out yet. This isn't the worst place I've ever eaten at, and if my dad didn't spend $75 here for his birthday dinner, I probably wouldn't be writing this review. But until this place gets everything sorted out, I think we'll probably be sticking to Dreams BBQ...
Read moreI really like the pulled pork, brisket, and Nashville Hot tenders. Tonight we decided to try the ribs. We ordered a full slab of ribs and for $30 it could not have been more disappointing. I’ve never had ribs that were cut right down the center of the meat between the bones. It left thin strips on each side of the bone forcing you to handle them and chew it off like a wild animal. The meat was tough and dry. The bread was soggy and useless. That was nothing but an irritating mess.

I opened the link and I saw the required fields of information to input. I was not required to provide that information when I placed my order. In this current day of businesses requiring your personal information in addition to what it has already spent in order to rectify their own issues I will not be participating. When you have a situation that is supposed to be a fair trade (Money for food) that should be all that is necessary. When there is a problem in that transaction it is because one side or the other fell short. Seeing how we paid in full that only leaves one side. That would be your side. Why don’t you provide me with your information so that I can contact you directly and then maybe we can get this taken care of without being solicited over the phone...
Read moreWill not go back to restaurant location. I ordered back to back days. First one was last Sunday , I got my lemonade it was light and tasted watered down. The next day I came in instead of drive- through to pick up my order. I seen a bag with a drink. I said to myself that can’t possibly be mine. He manager I believe said yes it’s mine. I said I ordered lemonade. He said yes we changed it, it much sour now. I tasted it and it was lemon water basically. I tell you it looked just like water you could see through it. But when I turned around and seen the lemonade cooler for self serve bit looked like lemonade. So I poured that mess out whatever he gave me and got another drink. I am now at another location. I asked the worker have you all changed your lemonade in the last couple of weeks, they said no. There’s looked like lemonade. Plus at the Fairfield location the food doesn’t taste as good. Not sure why they’re trying to stretch the products at Fairfield but when people pay for food it should be consistent like other locations. Even though Fairfield is closer I will not be returning. I have never had a clear...
