Where do I begin. You walk in the door, and are forced to stand and order off a chalkboard. No menu. Self serve soda. After being seated, you realize there is no music, muted hockey on the single tv, and nothing but licence plate to look at. The only positive, is that your food is brought to you by a very friendly server about 2.5 minutes after ordering. All fries, waffle and otherwise are undercooked. These are stuffed into a small basket (no plates) with your soggy, soggy sandwich. Doesn't take much common sense to toast a bun with greasy BBQ. So you get to work trying the 5 different sauces. Fun right? Wrong. They all have way too much mustard, and we're thinner than grease soaking into my bun. The most tragic thing was that the meat was very good! Ruined by a lazy, uninspired...

My favorite for this Meat house was the delicious thin slices of brisket a huge portion if you're a 2nd grader. My Girl faired far better, having to endure only slight palpitations after eating the equivalent to a half tub of Crisco on her Onion Rings, Our entertainment for the evening: Watching our server Empty trash....handle money...and then serve food. She was so quick we NEVER saw her wash her hands...Thankful the food was SO bad we hadn't eaten enough to get sick. My advice: If you want to eat here dig it out of their Dumpster, chances are you are if you eat inside...

Owner greeted most people by name, and is a nice gentlemen who is passionate about his brisket! Even though I was humbled by the wear on your furniture and the slightly dry brisket, I respect what you do and how you do it! You were a little busy so I know the brisket was probably not the best you could do. I give you 5 Stars because It still had some smoke to it, and you have some special beans. Its a tough time during this pandemic and you wouldn't be open if you didn't have some good bbq. It will get better, and I hope I find myself sometime one day in fairfield to grab...
