I want to start this review by saying this is a brand new restaurant and my husband and I went on the first night they had a completely sold out crowd. Unfortunately, they weren’t prepared to handle that many guests and there weren’t enough servers or food to accommodate the crowd.
We waited for 20 minutes for a waiter after my husband let the host know no one had come to our table. They apologized and said they would comp our drinks and salads.
However, after waiting another hour for dinner our waiter came back to tell us that the entree I had ordered was sold out. The waiter then brought me the menu to pick something else but by then about half the menu was sold out.
As we were waiting for our food two tables nearby - a party of 4 that arrived after us and a table of 8 that was seated as we were - were both served. At this point I was pretty upset and said something to my husband. The waiter heard me and came over. He said our order was delayed because they had to re-fire my husband’s steak which made me both concerned and confused. Why would you recook a rare steak? When our food arrived it was good but it was also almost 10 pm.
I would advise the restaurant management to re-think the waiter/server staffing. You need more waiters who are 21 and can serve drinks. You also need to have sufficient food for a Saturday night crowd. We arrived at 7:30 and I would have expected to receive what I ordered. I also think you need much better communication with the kitchen and guests. If you run low on an item don’t wait an hour to tell a guest. Finally please revisit your wedge salad. Ours arrived with no bacon, almost no blue cheese and about 3 cherry tomatoes cut into pieces. You also need a better wine list and need to keep your bar stocked.
I would like to give this restaurant another chance but probably not for another 6 months when they hopefully have gotten these...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at Sebastian's, a French fine dining restaurant, and it was an exquisite culinary experience from start to finish. The evening began with an amuse-bouche that set the tone for an extraordinary meal – the spinach foam, delicately layered with smoked salmon, caviar, and microgreens, was a symphony of flavors and textures that left me longing for more.
The poached pear salad that followed was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with freshness. The contrast of the tender poached pear against the crisp greens and the harmonious blend of flavors in the vinaigrette was nothing short of perfection.
For the main course, I indulged in the ratatouille pappardelle, a dish that showcased the chef's mastery of French cuisine. The pappardelle pasta was cooked to al dente perfection, and the ratatouille sauce was a celebration of the rich, rustic flavors of southern France. Each bite transported me to the Provencal countryside.
And to conclude this remarkable meal, the Citron Lav Brie cheesecake was a divine revelation. The tangy citrus notes blended flawlessly with the creamy brie, creating a dessert that was both elegant and decadent. It was the ideal ending to an unforgettable dining experience.
The ambiance at Sebastian's was equally enchanting, with its warm and inviting décor, attentive staff, and an extensive wine selection that perfectly complemented the meal. The attention to detail in every aspect of the dining experience was truly commendable.
In conclusion, Sebastian's is not just a restaurant; it's a destination for those who appreciate the artistry of French cuisine. From the amuse-bouche to the dessert, every dish was a masterpiece, and I can't wait to return to savor more of their culinary delights. It's an absolute gem for fine dining...
Read moreIt was fine dining-ish. The food was good but everything else was lacking. The server was inattentive and couldn't get the order right no matter how many times he asked us to repeat ourselves. His name and co-servers names were scribbled on their name tags with a sharpie. Once the food was delivered we never saw him again even though it wasn't very busy. I've had better service at Zaxby's.
The piano was way too loud due to having wood floors and barely covered walls. Our party of six could barely have a conversation.
Additionally, the manager/owner was nowhere to be found until we were leaving and she barely acknowledged our presence.
For the price of the food, I expect a better dining experience. If you go to any other fine dining restaurants in the area, such as Jesse's, Ruth Chris, etc, the staff is very well trained and portrays the quality of the establishment. Everyone enjoyed the food and it was all cooked as ordered but the overall atmosphere needs serious work and attention to detail. We don't have...
