Pizza King & The Mason Jar — Restaurant in Fairmount

New owners New everything..It's fantastic now, they are great people too.We went when it was opened almost 2 years ago and it wasn't the greatest food :( (I hate to say bad things but it was awful). So my brother and sister-in-law came over last night so we decided to take all the kids out for ice cream and some pizza...I said lets try the new pizza king the menu looks amazing...so happy we did! Not only was the ice cream soooo good, the 10 inch garlic bread with cheese pizza was so freaken good..The woman who im assuming is owner was playful with the kids, very helpful and accomodating... Overall, it was an amazing experience and we had so much fun. Just sitting around outside eating ice cream and letting the kids play.We will be back over and over again....

Terrible experience. Called in for a carry out order, a 14” and a 12” pizza along with an order of breadsticks. I was told on the phone 30-35 minutes. We arrived after 30 minutes, stood for another 30 minutes waiting- a grand total of 60 minutes total wait time. The older lady rang us up and I asked about getting a discount. She proceeded to ask me “what for”. I told her we waited an hour and she rambled on about how it happens sometimes when they get multiple orders. Lady! You are lucky we didn’t walk out and stick you with 2 pizzas unpaid like most anyone else would. Horrible customer service. We will not be returning and will never recommend this...

We finally got around to giving this location a try. Pleasant, clean dining room, friendly and helpful staff, and delicious pizza were what we found. The toppings balance was about right and was one of the very few pizza places anywhere that uses enough sauce for my taste without me having to ask for it. Get the Mason Jar Garlic Sticks, too. It was not crowded and we didn't have to wait long for the food. New favorite location, we'll...
