This review is solely in response to one individual and one individual incident, and in no way directed at any other member of the staff.

That individual is the owner and operator Jim.

I'm relatively new to the area of Fairview Park, I've been here for about two years. After buying my home I was eager to find that bar that could potentially become my go to for many years to come. Bonnies is very close to were I live, nice atmosphere, is consistent with their hours of operation, and has late night food. All staples I look for in a good neighborhood bar.

Despite hearing MANY stories of why not to go there from other locals, most of which stem from the behavior or actions of the owner, I decided to ignore the warnings because up until yesterday I was always treated very well by their by the staff, particularly Sandra, (who, if you're reading this, you are amazing. And it pains me to do this knowing you work here. But that's how bad last was.)

Last night I went in with a friend. The owner Jim took care of us. When I say this guy was the rudest, most unpleasant, disrespectful individual I have ever had take care of me in a bar/restaurant setting, I am not exaggerating. He was rude, condescending, and made me and my friend extremely uncomfortable. He must not work for tips because I cannot imagine expecting anyone to leave gratuity after the way he treated us. (I still did).

Anyways, if your reading this Jim, you've lost a potential long time regular for years to come.

I'd be happy to go into detail if you care to respond to this review. But I'm sure you wouldn't want that. And for the sake of all of the good people who work there, I don't want them to suffer from your poor and abhorrent behavior.

I've never left a review this negative because I love supporting local small businesses. But felt that compelled after last night.

Hopefully he reads this and starts treating all of his customers and employees better...

place has gone down hill. Visited last night and it was lightly busy but nothing crazy .. 2 servers , bartender , owner... drinks took over 25 minutes, server seemed to not want to be there and kept forgetting stuff each time she came by. I asked multiple times for things including NO CHILI on my tots but also waited 30 min for that and was starving so had to wait and give to my fiance. she apologized for the food and was going to have them remake it but I was not going to wait another half hour for tater tots. after my friends arrived she immediately came over and asked if we were ready to order even though they had just gotten there and no drinks had been put in yet. when the food came out it was less than subpar and you guys have outrageously changed your prices on everything. no reason you should be charging over $4 for a handful of pepperoncinis on my sliders. If you have stuff on happy hour then your toppings should be priced as such and not overpriced just so you can make a buck. That is the whole point of happy hour pricing and special pricing.Starting to rip people off will only scare people away. Soggy fish dinner and much smaller portions than before, undercooked wings that looked like they sat in the window for 15 minutes... won't be back for a while or if at all and we used to be regulars . Owner seems very attentive but needs to lay the hammer down on these servers and help that kitchen... Where has the pride in your...

It was on Labor day 09/02/2024 after we went to the airshow and we were all too exhausted to go anywhere else. We always loved Bonnie's from all the other times we went cause you know it was like our neighborhood bar and we have not been there in a really long time. We waited over and hour for our 5 burgers and one salmon. Other tables that got seated after us and ordered their food after us got their food before us. The fries were raw not chrispy like we ordered and the burgers were not medium like we ordered more like mid rare and dry. The server said there was only one cook in the kitchen and there was a gentleman mingling around behind the bar that looked like the owner that we were thinking that could at least get into the kitchen and assist with things like the side salads that we ordered that took 20 minutes to finally get to the table. We no longer recommend this place and we will no longer go back, you have lost long time customers. What a shame and we are heart broken cause we really did...

I was in the mood for comfort food. I ordered the Pork Stack. It was all brown, so a plant based person's nightmare. I DID have a salad before. I LOVED that the tomatoes were not cold or in chunks. Nice basic green salad. I was happy with that. The stack was delicious!!! The potato pancakes were absolutely delicious. The pork, which I expected to be thinner, like a Schnitzel, which they have on the menu (as Weiner schnitzel, technically incorrect),but they were loin, thick and able to be easily cut with a fork. Nicely breaded, not too heavy. I left the cheese off and just had the gravy. If I were to get it again I would follow the Server's advice and have the gravy on the side. It made the beautiful crisp potato pancakes go limp sooner than they should have and they had such a nice crisp edges and good potato flavor. The Server was extremely nice. I missed her named, but she had blonde, side swept braid. Great Server. Will definitely go back. Need to try their yellow Perch.

Do you want to go to a place that’s a millennial’s paradise with great food, then Bonnie’s is the place to be at! This place serves food and drinks till 2 am and it’s really delicious food! If you’re looking for something low carb and delicious the. Try the jalapeƱos popper and the stuffed mushrooms! We also tried their Bonnie’s stacker which has potato pancakes, fried cod, and a pierogi. Their chicken wings were also delicious, we loved the spicy garlic parm. Their food has a homemade feel to it and seems super fresh and I love playing keno here. The place doesn’t really look much like a bar and more of a real nice restaurant with an amazing patio with beautiful flowers and shrubs during spring, summer and fall!

Great service nice place to hang out for awhile. The food was good but mainly had appetizers. Beer on draft was good. We had 12 in our party and they were very accommodating. Parking can be a little tight but you can park in the street and walk in the back door. Our AK tip is to ask for Jen. It is a code for even better service. They offer it once a day to the first person to ask for Jen. If they say Jen is not here them you were not there first but it also doesn't let on to the secret code. We just wonder what happens if they hire a Jen šŸ˜€
