Doughluxe Pizza — Restaurant in North Olmsted

This is a new spot, so my family and I ordered a little bit of everything to try it out. Two different pizzas, wings, and mozz sticks. There are a few things you need to know about the current menu (7/2/25) that can help you order there.

First, the sauces listed on the menu are actually a drizzle. I tried to order a white pizza by asking for garlic butter sauce. It was actually brushed on top of the pizza instead of replacing the red sauce. Not expected, like done at other shops. This should be corrected on the menu or clarified at the time of order.

Second, the wings are actually breaded, which is not noted on the menu. So, Keto dieters need to be aware. My family does not like breaded wings, so they mostly went to waste.

Finally, the mozz sticks were OK. They had a good taste, but they had a flaky breading. Not a big issue, but not typical.

I want to clarify the review by saying that the food was good. The pizza had a generous amount of cheese on it and the toppings were a good amount. The red sauce was good and unique. Spiced well and not too sweet. The crust was good. I, personally, like breaded wings, but not with sauce on it. I would have ordered them plain with sauce on the side. They were fine, otherwise.

The service was good, for the most part. The phone was answered quickly. Everyone was super friendly when we got there. My only gripe is that we were given a bad pickup time. Not a big deal, but we did wait ten minutes after the given time. I think this caused them to hurry the order and pull the pizzas a little early. The pizzas were slightly undercooked. I would rather have to wait a little more to have the dough/crust have a crunch to it. The place was very clean.

With so few independent pizza shops in the area, this is much needed. The area is swamped with chain stores. Definitely, give it a chance. As they grow and learn, I think they can be really good. I will order...

I have had the za’atar pizza at Doughluxe Pizza twice now - really delicious! Regular pizza, with all that cheese and sauce and toppings can be really heavy and hard on your digestive system, especially during hot summer days.

Great customer service family owned business excellent communication skills, very polite and know how to hold a very entertaining conversation as I spoke with the wife, husband and son as they prepared my food.
