My family and I stopped there while at At the Hershey show. We ordered and my elderly father,(which just had a knee replacement) got up nd proceeded to the restroom- as he walks with a limp(he is awaiting surgery on the other knee) the owner and her daughter was laughing and pointing at the way my father walked. I asked the waitress(an older lady that was a very good waitress and very kind) if those disrespectful people were the owners- because they were going behind the counter...she stated that they were. I advised her what this owners did and she apologized, needless to say it should not have been her job to apologize,I apologized in return for her to have to work for such ignorant individuals!! I hope when the get to be my father's age ,they don't have knee problems and walk with an imperfection! OR maybe karma can make them even worse off! It's ashame they were not raised properly! Never make fun of someone with problems!! As for the food..mediocre at best! Find somewhere else to spend your money, as these ingratitude don't deserve your hard...
Read moreThe service from our waitress was outstanding, she was sweet and attentive. The decor and atmosphere was rough. It’s old, dated, and rundown. For example, there are broken and water stained drop ceiling panels and broken mirror panes along the upper wall. The plastic cups used for juice look like they’re left over from the Eat N’ Park days. The whole edge of the cup was jagged to the point where it would probably cut you didn’t use a straw. Cups at other tables looked the same, unfortunately. The eggs, home fries, and bacon were bland at best. The sausage gravy was a tasteless, floury gravy with itty bitty granules of sausage. Prices weren’t bad with the exception of $4.25 or $4.50 for apple juice. People will go here because it’s conveniently located right off the exit, but for a local like me, I won’t be going back when there are better...
Read moreWhen the new owners took over, they added more items to the salad bar and raised the price. Six months later, it's gone south quickly! Never consistent with the options, and the pictures online aren't even accurate. They take away the romaine lettuce ceasar salad some days, and they got rid of the sliced ham and red onions. I noticed it only comes back when customers complain. They can't seem to get their ranch dressing consistent either because sometimes it's great, and sometimes it's super runny. If this keeps up, I will go to Hoss's from now on. That's been a $9.99 salad bar for years, and they have way more options. The staff is super friendly and Janice is always great. They just need to be more consistent and not take away items customers are used to having a couple months later to save money, especially when they own multiple...
