Mr.kukis (Fajardo) — Restaurant in Fajardo

I visited this place today for the 1st time and last. Upon arrival I did not receive a warm greeting. The cashier attitude lack of customer service 100%. He said " the cookies there is what we have" wow no customer engagement at all. I ordered a cappuccino and an Oatmeal carrot cookie.

I have to say the cookie was delicious but the coffee presentation was far from what is expected. If you look at the photo I share, you can see that it barely had coffee, not even added enough whipped cream to cover the disaster inside the cup. Needless to say, I was shocked because for the price I paid, I definitely expect a better customer service and food presentation. Coffee was not on its point. From a Barista point of view.

I worked in the hospitality industry for 30 yrs. running a big operation where customer service and engagement was very important. So i decided to sit and have my coffee there while I observe to see if it was my perception or if indeed there was lack of service. I noticed his interaction with other customers. Not even a greeting, 2 people left because he did not interact at all and the other person ordered and there was no customer engagement at all with him neither. His attitudes and body language was from a lazy employee that doesn't wants to work and can't wait to finish his shift.

This is my advice: You can have a beautiful place but if you don't provide a good customer service, if you don't provide a warm greeting to your customers and engage with your clients and make them feel welcome, sadly to say, you will not have a successful business.

I encourage you to improve in that area, so that your clients can feel welcomed and become repeat clients, otherwise most of them will visit you once. I left very disappointed with...

I could easily write this review in Spanish, but I'm doing it in English because most people that write the reviews for this business are either tourists or people that speak English.

For all of the people who are complaining about the cookies not looking EXACTLY the same as the Instagram page, when exactly has a product looked like the pictures they advertise? Even then, the cookies are delicious, ALWAYS served warm when dining in. They're only hard if you take them to go, but you can also ask them to warm it up if you want them warm to go.

Secondly, the service is great, I don't know why someone had to write that they didn't receive a warm greeting, I suppose they were expecting the employees to open the door for them, clap and throw confetti up😅. The people that work at this place are very nice, kind and the customer service is great.

With all of that being said, I'm a local, I live in Fajardo and I visit this place at least twice or three times a week to work with my husband or just to get a cookie and coffee. The service, quality of products and environment has been the same since the day...
