Plaza Fajardo — Local services in Fajardo

This plaza had a Wal-Mart and an Econo. Econo, for those of us that don't know, is a large grocery store. Don't bother looking for groceries at Wal-Mart, they have a very limited supply of groceries and they are more expensive than Econo (at least on the items we compared). Econo is like a Lowe's Food, Publix or Harris Teeter. It's quite nice. Local fruits and vegetables are plentiful here. They also have a security tower in the middle of the parking lot and a rotating security guard in a golf cart. We never felt any concern for our safety in or around PR and we had 4 children with us...

A nightmare from hell especially on weekends. A huge parking lot with no parking ever. Yes there are stores of all kinds...it's really all we got in Fajardo. If you're in the desert starving and someone gives you a cracker you'll think it's the best cracker in the world, that's how I feel about plaza Fajardo. Watch out for terrible drivers in the parking lot and no one puts their shopping carts back where they belong, they just pile them up behind the nearest parked car....but there is a Walmart, and an econo. Definitely some amazing people watching if you're into that. Go super early...

Walmart is the major store in this mall area. This is a great mall top get anything you need within Fajardo area. Lots of retail stores for family clothing and necessities. Different cellular companies and take out restaurants. A well stocked supermarket is located on left of mall. Plenty of free parking. Parking lot has security throughout. Check your store hours before going they vary. Visited this mall recently due to Covid19 you must wear a mask and you will be given hand sanitizer upon entering store. Smaller venues limit the amount of people entering store. I never had...
