I was in last night. Couldn’t have been more disappointed. It was a late day for us. I ordered on the app. Arrived, walked in, stood right next to the Mobile App Pick Up spot and little custard freezer waiting for my order to be ready. There were three young ladies that came in and stood there at the counter talking and shooting the breeze with one of the workers, at one point another worker walked past in the back and flipped them all off (in a playful way). Other customers came in, ordered and recieved their orders, cars came and went in the drive through. 10 min or more in, still standing there waiting patiently. I was never asked if I could be helped, nothing. Still waiting patiently for my order in the pick up spot. I had noticed a couple times a couple bags of food sitting up by the register where you order if you walk in. When I glanced over there again I noticed two shakes sitting there. Then finally a couple drinks were sitting there with it. Finally I walked over to the register and asked about my order, since it should have been ready for pick up a while ago. The young lady, who was one of the only two workers I saw actually working, says oh yeah this is it right here. I explained I had been standing over there at the order pick up waiting for quite a while for it. Almost $60 worth of food was cold (the bags had sat there open for quite some time). I ordered on the app so it can be ready and fresh when I get there and then still good when I get back home with it. So disappointed. People are paying good money for their food, yet no care is taken to make sure it is given to them in a fresh way. I don’t think I’ll be back because this isn’t the first time this has happened. The first time my daughter stood there waiting for the order, the same way I did, just to find out they had it sitting in the back. I figured it was just a one time deal, but clearly it is not. Again, the food was cold. It seems as though the only way to enjoy the fresh delicious steak burgers Freddy’s is know for is to eat in the lobby. Which isn’t possible for our family. It’s terribly sad. Do better, Freddy’s. And also, where was the shift manager to tell the worker it is inappropriate for their friends to be standing there at the counter shooting the breeze with them while they are supposed to be working, and the common sense of the other worker to not walk by flipping everyone off when there are customers standing right there. The worker was not on break and was so busy talking with her friends that she couldn’t even acknowledge me. When one of the other walk in orders was ready the sea of friends would part as the worker called for the customer to come get their order. If the worker had acknowledged me, she probably could have directed me to my food the minute I walked in. Aside from that, you’d expect that when you order in the app for pick up, your order would be at the place where it says to pick up your mobile app order. I don’t think I’ll be back. If the workers wonder why franchises want to move to fully automated, it’s because work ethic keeps going down while the demand for more pay...
Read moreOk. This is an anomaly and I struggled whether or not to post this. We went thru the drive thru for a late dinner a couple of weeks ago. A number of things just didn't work out. I ordered the fish sandwich and chili fries while my gf ordered the hot dog and the mini shake. Got to the drive up window only then to be told they were out of fish. The manager came to the window and said the same thing. They were expecting more in 20-30 minutes (mind you this was about 830pm). I decided to go with the chicken club sandwich, adding pickles and mustard. They didn't have us pull up so all the cars behind us had to wait almost 10 extra minutes. The drive thru attendant forgot to give us the shake until we reminded her. We pulled up and then checked the food while still in the lot. The hot dog was cold, the chili fries were cold and were spilling out of the container. Got back and when I opened my sandwich it did not include the pickles and mustard that I had asked for. I still very much enjoy this restaurant, but this experience was not good. It won't affect my decision to return unless we have a similar issue. Normally I'd give it 5 stars, hence my...
Read moreIncredible service! Adriana is literally the friendliest and simultaneously most helpful food service worker I’ve ever encountered. She has a warm, engaging demeanor that makes you feel as if you’ve known her for years. She additionally anticipates guest needs and preferences in such a tactful and intuitive manner, to the degree that would be suggestive of years of training in psychoanalysis or a similar field. I honestly don’t go to Freddy’s much but I will now. It’s clear that Adriana not only has an expert-level mastery of her current job, but also further displays initiative, drive, command of the dining and cooking areas, and amazing rapport with both staff and patrons. She also is a vocal and revered supporter of our local schools and families. Adriana should be considered for management, at the store or regional level or higher, and begin relevant training at her convenience. Freddy’s is actively losing money for each moment that Adriana is not in a more influential role. Thank you Adriana for making a seemingly-average Monday one that will become a memory, and happy...
