This place used to be great but has gone downhill. Guy Fieri would not approve anymore. When my wife and arrived we were greeted by the bartender who was fantastic. She brought out a high chair for my 15 month old son and even cracked a joke. It's all downhill from there... This was the last interaction we had with the staff for the next 15 mins. There were 4 other tables in the whole place and it took my wife walking up to a member of the staff to request that they come take our order. After ordering our food the waitress came out to inform me that they were out of Churogis(one of their most popular types) and asked what other kind I wanted. After she left our table I heard another waitress listing off specials to the table that had just sat behind us. Nobody ever informed us that there were specials and they sounded amazing. Our food finally comes out and everything was either just ok or not good at all. When it came time to pay my wife took our son outside while I waited for them to come back with my credit card. This took 15 mins! It's sad... I used to love this place and now I won't...

The pierogis are absolutely stuffed to near bursting with perfectly cooked creamy mashed potatoes and cheese, who doesn't love that? If cabbage rolls are your thing, the absolutely massive golabki is a MUST. I had half of one and it was very good, my fiance ate 2 and the other half of mine and he was thrilled. The "pierogi scampi" should be a star dish, that garlic butter sauce is almost too good to be legal. If you like beets, I cannot recommend the beet salad higher. The dressing is amazing and I believe it's house made.
Everything is fresh and delicious, it's all homemade comfort food and it does not disappoint.
Service was good, everyone is always super friendly. Prices are more than fair, $2 per pierogi is consistent across all the different flavors and fillings. The sides are reasonably priced, especially for how big they are.
I have no complaints about this restaurant except that the parking situation isn't great but that's minor and honestly not their fault (people using the almost all the spaces out front to go across the street to...
Read moreHidden gem, staff was friendly helpful and accommodating. There is a bar with seating, as you walk in. On the left are Pub height table and chairs. On your right are table and chairs. Bar selection is good, with some Polish items. Beer, cherry liquor, vodka. Patti's dough for the pierogies is sublime. Thin, yet not too thin, and delicious. Your choice of fillings is huge. Personally, love the sauerkraut, cabbage and mushroom. Tried the steak, cheese and mushroom and surprisingly, i LOVED it! Kielbasa was ordered and enjoyed by all. One in our thought it was a tad salty. Golomki, delicious. Now the kapusta, aka cabbage soup, delicious, perfectly seasoned, a must have but be prepared, a cup is enough for two to share as appetizer. The rye bread, although not baked on premises was nicely peppered with caraway and a great complement to the meal. Excellent service, friendly atmosphere, delicious food make this a must do. Patti greets you and makes you feel welcome. The bartender and waitress are first class. Definitely...
