Fallon Nv 9.13.25 Breakfast at the Courtyard Best breakfasts in town. Good morning sunshine!

Hands down, this is the BEST breakfast spot in town! The food is fresh and delicious, the atmosphere is super cozy and the service is always friendly. My wife and I always make it a point to stop in any time we make our way across HWY 50 and if it's available, we prefer to sit at the counter. On our last visit, we got a chance to meet Andy, one of the owners and had a great time talking to him about Jeeps. As far as food goes, my wife had their French Toast and I their California Omelete and both were outstanding. I should note that parking is somewhat limited out front but there's plenty more to be found around back and even on a weekday, the place can fill up fast so be prepared to wait a bit if you show up after 9am. On nice days, they do have outdoor seating as well and that's always a plus. Before you leave, be sure to look in the bakery cabinet as there are all kinds of mouthwatering treats to take with you on the road. For us, we always make sure to get a cinnamon roll to go and snack on it later on in the day. Be sure to come hungry and leave feeling satisfied!

I love this place, stop by 2-3 times/month & literally loved every single morsel; until today. My to-go order of an egg sandwich & home fries had an over easy egg(I wasn't asked how I wanted it, just presumed it would be scrambled so sorta on me too...I guess) which leaked all the good stuff out, but what was completely over the top was the taters had been burned black on one side & virtually untouched/not flipped onto the other. Look closely at the picture, I'm not exaggerating. Did I mention that I loved EVERY MORSEL, & had NO COMPLAINTS until this meal? Get this: when I called to speak to the manager(from the same line I ordered), to ask if maybe someone called in sick or perhaps they had a new guy, I was coldly informed she was not available!! Message received guys, I plan to not trouble y'all further with any visits from me or my clan. If I have to stop, I'll only get treats at the counter so you can't ruin them. Maybe leave better tips for to-go orders, folks, or suffer my fate?? Maybe if I use a disguise...

BEST restaurant in Fallon. Great first experience here today. Lajeana Irene took such good care of us and the other staff did as well. Everyone was so friendly and smiley :) We started off with two coffees and they were just what we needed to start the day. Strong and fresh. We ordered the Tomato Quiche and the Gourmet French Toast. Both were delicious! The quiche came with fresh fruit and a slice of fruit bread. We chose the pumpkin bread after our server recommended it and it was probably the best pumpkin bread we ever had. We loved that there were pumpkin seeds on it too! The fruit was fresh and we were surprised by that. Not many places offer real fresh fruit. The pineapple was perfectly ripened. The Gourmet French toast was out of this world. We had never had croissant French toast before! The almonds and blueberry syrup on top is genius. We can’t wait to come back. We will get some pastries Togo when we return because those looked amazing! We have zero complaints, however, may we suggest a couple of things. We may have missed it but a sign when you enter that says seat yourself or wait to be seated. We weren’t sure so we sat at the bar which was totally fine for us! :) The other would be to have a printed small sized list of all of the loose teas available. I was interested in them but didn’t want to ask the server to list them all because it looked like there were ten plus. Again, I may have missed it! Thank you so much for making our last day in Fallon (just for a month) a...

Decided to take hw 50 instead of 80 this time and the courtyard Cafe has become one of our reasons to take the same route in the future!

I ordered the angel hair pasta and it was SOOOOO GOOD. The balsamic sauce flavor is perfect for summer (if you dont like creamy pasta, this is for you)... the grilled chicken was not dried and loved the toasted pine nuts, sun dried tomatoes and a hint of basil. They said it is one of their made to order items so tend to take a little longer but I wasn't in rush and didn't feel it took that long anyway! Even my husband was trying to steal some bites from me...

My husband ordered the California burger and it was a simple n humble size of a burger... local ground beef, pepper jack cheese and roasted green chili and avocado... the Cesar salad side was tasty tok. I saw it and I HAD to steal a few bites. I've tried so many burgers else where at pricy restaurants and none of them beat this one 🤯

The courtyard Cafe refueled us with delicious unique flavors AND very friendly dining experience. They make us feel excited about the town and the rest of the trip to come.

Thank you,...
