Morrisville Tavern — Restaurant in Falls Township

Atmosphere: A depressing dive.

The staff were rage-lusting in the back, near the kitchen, shouting about people they want to beat up, "This effin' guy who I effin' hate". And more class-act conversations like “I broke 3 of his effin' ribs”, “I want to smash his effin' head into the pavement”. This garbage went on for over an HOUR, and continued until I left. I couldn’t hear anything else. They talked above the music and all the other customers conversations combined.

I came in for a meal and a drink and wanted to leave ASAP, but I ordered food and had to wait. Me and another guest sitting next to me were both in a hurry to leave. Both of us, we got our checks as soon as we were done eating. It was so exhausting listening to these dudes rage in the back. There was no room to enjoy ourselves with them shouting and bragging about violence.

I got up to leave, and I looked over at the group and I get dagger eyes. Dude, I'm in your restaurant, are you trying to intimidate your guests? Why are you acting like this?

I chose not to say anything. You were in a bad mood, and it rubbed off something fierce, and now I'm in a bad mood. I'm definitely not coming back. Your mindless rage yelling put me and other patrons in a horrible mood. I left to go to another bar.

Food: Burger was cooked perfectly to temp, but the fries were skimpy. Only a few real fries, the rest were burnt ends.

Service: Someone who came in after me, who sat next to me, was served before me. Bartop was not clean.

Large surface parking lot with plenty of spaces. However on my most recent visit the lighting was horrible! The entrance lights for the strip center were off. Most if not all of the snake heads were burned out.

Morrisville Tavern was great! I have been meaning to try it out for some time and when I saw that they had outside seating, I knew I had to stop by for a drink and a bite to eat. The girl who served me, Morgan, was very friendly and provided great conversation. Everyone else that worked there was also just as friendly and provided a great atmosphere.
