If you find yourself in Morrisville, Pennsylvania, do yourself a favor and visit the culinary gem that is Salute Restaurant. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that lasted throughout our entire dining experience.
To start, let's discuss the food: absolutely delicious. I decided on the Chicken Formaggio, which was prepared to perfection, while my companion chose the Affogato for dessert, and it was equally impressive. One of the highlights of my meal was substituting my side for the vodka rigatoni, a choice I do not regret. The creamy, flavorful sauce was a delightful complement to the tender pasta and is a strong recommendation for any future diners.
Service at Salute was exemplary. Our server was both kind and attentive, ensuring our dining experience was seamless. Special mention goes to the bus person, who was equally attentive, regularly refilling our drinks and providing us with freshly baked, delicious bread, which made for a great accompaniment to our meal.
Adding a personal touch, the owner took the time to visit our table and engage with us, making the evening even more memorable. This personal interaction highlighted the essence of Salute—a place where you're treated not just as a customer but as a valued guest.
Given this remarkable experience, I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit, not only for another round of delicious meals but to explore their catering services, which I anticipate will be as impressive as their...

The atmosphere: the place is not big, but it’s not small. It’s small enough and set up in a way that makes it hard to hear oneself think when it’s packed. Chalk it up to it being an Italian restaurant (as Stereotypical Italians are loud), but I just don’t think the space allows for great conversation when sat in the middle of the establishment. But it’s a cute place.
The food: ordered the calamari and mozzarella sticks. Surprisingly, the sticks were served with a cheese sauce versus a traditional red marinara. The calamari wasn’t overly greasy or chewy, meeting the average dish. Personally ordered the orchiette dish with broccoli rabe and sausage, which I enjoyed it greatly. The rigatoni ala vodka was SUPER creamy and thick.
Service: waiter was good. Wait staff excellent. Understandable that it was a busy Saturday evening, but don’t be so exasperated and rude if the party is not aware or familiar with ordering everything at once.
Would I recommend? Yes. Do visit. Do enjoy. Do continue support this lovely business. Also, it is BYO-W. A...
Read moreSalute has become a weekly regular for my parents and I! There food is always incredible. I know I can eat healthy here with delicious soup and a salad or a great chicken dish or I could always get an incredible Italian dish. My favorite chicken Sinatra (YUM) or the shrimp I got last night (my mouths still watering) my boyfriends favorite is the classic chicken parm! So delicious I always eat some of his too. It is a byob which is fabulous because you can bring your own wines to pair with the great food! Also, if you have a sweet tooth their tiramisu and bread pudding is the best I've had in this area. I don't usually like tiramisu but I always order it here!
The waitstaff is extremely nice and go above and beyond to make sure you've had a great meal. As does the owner/chef, who walks around making sure everyone's meal and dinner is ok. He also keeps his mask on an abides to covid guidelines, unlike stated below. We are here weekly so I’m not sure what they(reviewer below) are talking about. Salute also has a tent(heated!!) and outdoor dinning too! So they...
