Long wait, terrible service, and disappointing food experience. My family and I arrived here to eat dinner for the first time. They have like 20-25 booths, and only 6 of them were filled. We thought we would get seated right away. That was our first mistake. We checked in at the desk, where 4 people were just standing around and gave our number and were told the wait was 15 minutes. Puzzled, we sat down and waited. After half an hour, we checked back in, and they told us 10 minutes longer. After another 15 minutes, they told us 5 more minutes. Finally, after waiting around an hour with 2 hungry children, we went back up to tell them to take us off because it is taking too long. The lady responded with, "we texted you." I pulled out both of our phone with no messages on it and asked why they didn't just walk 10 feet away and just let us know if we didn't come up right away. After being told they had a party of 15 coming in as an excuse, we were finally seated after about hour and 10 minutes. Took another 5-10 minutes of sitting in a booth before a guy came up to ask us our order. We ordered drinks and food right away to get everything out right away. After another 25 minutes, half our food came out. We received both our burgers and not our children's food. It took another 15-20 minutes to get our children's Mac and cheese, which should have been the first thing brought out even before our meals. We ordered our burgers med well, and they came out rare to raw. We would have asked for them to get tossed back on because our waiter only came back to our table once, and that was at the end of our experience. We had zero refiles on our drinks and were never asked how everything was. We only got our check because after waiting for 15 minutes after everything was eaten and drank, we asked a random employee for our check and paid. After paying our waitor finally came back and asked us if we wanted our check . We informed him that we had already paid and he told us to have a good night. To make everything even better, we learned that the table across from us was sitting there for an hour and 15 minutes before they got their first appetizer, which was wrong. And that we got our food before they did, and they ordered an hour earlier. I informed someone who said they were the manager of how we would probably never come back to eat and how our first-time experience went, and he didn't seem to care. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be telling everyone I know about my...
Read moreJust ate here with my wife and 14 month old son. This place blew away our expectations- they had several new menu items and we selected the fried pickles, shrimp po boy, and Mac and cheese. The po boy was stuffed full of juicy, breaded, season shrimp with a wonderful slaw and sauce and a perfectly toasted hoagie. Absolutely perfect, best poboy I've ever had outside Louisiana. The Mac and cheese had no shortage of either and was incredibly rich and creamy. It is now my wife's new favorite. The service was outstanding, prices are way more reasonable than others here indicate, even more so when factoring in quantity and quality. We each had a separate cocktail (the elite, and barons mimosa) and those were certainly as good as a cocktail you can find in fargo. I don't if they are under new ownership or management, but we will absolutely be back and...
Read moreA place for kids yes, food was horrendous. Due to being a party of 10 we were not allowed to sit in the actual restaurant and had to sit in the bowling area and only allowed to order from the “bowling menu” which is different than what we went for. Can say the 1 star was for the Diet Pepsi, the only thing that didn’t taste like second day served reheated cafeteria food. Skip the fried pickles, the pretzels, the cheese curds, the childrens grilled cheese, the enormous pile of Romaine with a smattering of additional “ingredients” on top to hide the fact it’s all romaine, - how do you screw up a kids grilled cheese by the way? — Feed the kids before coming and have them share a basket of nuggets, and save the money to let them play games. Not sure anything’s better in the actual restaurant but wont be coming back to find out, Applebees is a...
