Casey's — Restaurant in Fargo

I just wrote a very long, very specific rating. I needed to leave it for a moment. When I returned, the rating was gone! It wasn't negative to be mean. It was very specific as to be helpful to management to be helpful. Very long story short. The usual young lady with glasses is professional, kind and helpful (Dakota). There was an older woman today sitting on a stool. I previously stopped coming in because of her. The short of it: I was years long daily customer. She couldn't finish transaction so she asked the line of customers building up behind me. Dissatisfied, she asked a coworker. She quibbled with her coworker. This was very frequent with myself and other customers (told management twice, nothing changed so I quit coming in for many months. I came back recently because of the great proximity to my home, and that it appeared that she no longer appeared that she worked there, until today (3-19-25 @ approximately 13:25). I will again stop coming in until I am satisfied that I won't have her as my cashier. (I've tried waiting before, and that's uncomfortable and makes other's wait times longer). I wish I could have provided more evidence and specifics. Again, I'm doing this to be helpful. However, I've informed management more than once. I cannot be the only one. You can figure it out. Apparently the math doesn't fall in my favor. I spend approximately $112/wk for cigarettes, sodas, candy and lotto, car washes $468/mo. I imagine that she is reliable and consistently shows up for her shifts, I'm sure that is nearly indispensable in these times. Earning more business through excellent customer service is down a few notches. I hope this is helpful.

Edit: I spoke with the manager. She was kind, helpful and understanding. My review has changed...

So glad this won’t be my local store anymore. They can’t keep the shelves stocked and most of the staff is rude. Check the pic, if your thirsty look elsewhere. Your beverage of choice most likely won’t be in stock. This isn’t a one off. Lived here almost a year and it looks like this all the time.

Wow! Keep in mind this store is close to me and that’s why I went back this morning. Some fat woman with a mustache was sitting behind the counter. She WAITED for a customer to get in line and then decided to call her doctor about her Xanax. She proceeded to stop the transaction and argue with the person on the other line. As customers started to pile up the “manager” came out. As I voiced my concerns she walked right past me and ignored my frustration. Due to our poor operating procedures and horrible staff I will never shop at...

My girl prepaid 20 dollars the other day, turns out they took an additional $150. She tried to let them know they made a mistake and the girl told her she can't help or send a refund. REFUSED to call a manager. My girl went in the next day and even the manager refused to help just by simply refunding the money. SHE CALLED THE COPS on her when they STOLE MONEY! Cops said this happens all the time with Casey's and I will be getting a hold of whistleblower hotline as well as blasting this store on social media until it gets shut down.
