The food is fantastic! I'm from California with family in Mexico, I know Mexican food. Portions are generous, prices are pretty good and service is also very good. Great atmosphere. My favorite is the Steak Molcajete. My son really likes the Pollo con Hongos. My mom usually gets a combination and always has a Chile Relleno (how she tests Mexican restaurants) and she loves theirs. My chile and tomato allergic daughter-in-law usually has meat nachos and they are very good about keeping the allergens out on request. My father usually has a huge burrito with their very spicy green salsa. There always seems to be plenty to take home.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant in Fargo! I ordered the horchata and the Guadalajara Burrito, and both were exceptional. The horchata was phenomenal, bringing back memories of my childhood in Houston.

Despite my initial hesitation in ordering from the lunch specials section, thinking the portions might be small, I was pleasantly surprised by the generous serving size. The food was hot, served promptly, and of excellent quality.

I don’t know anywhere else you can receive such great food and portions and respectful/efficient service in Fargo, I have looked all summer. This was also very clean and seemed to function effortlessly despite being quite busy which put me at ease. I had been loyal to Mango’s and was so disappointed when I moved back to Fargo and heard it had burned in a fire. I tried so many Mexican restaurants in the area and was getting depressed because it just wasn’t the experience or food that I liked and had been accustomed to.
