Bands are usually pretty decent, usually a $5 cover; $2 you call its from like 9p-10p. The general crowd is pretty, uuuh, it's not really anyone I know's kinda bar, let's just say that, but you can have a good time if you are with the right people. Servers are usually pretty friendly and there's gambling, a big sheltered smoking patio, and darts/billiards. I think there's also an outdoor area in the summer. ATM on site for cover, though they'll take cards at the bar, good restrooms and tasty shots/cocktails. If it attracted a better crowd I'd give it 5 stars, but it never has.... still, it's a great fun spot to get on their large dance floor! I'd go more often if you had foam party nights!!

Our band was one of the first to play at the Windbreak. The first time we played there they hadn't finished the stage and dance floor area. We sat up next to the bar about 10 feet from the customers. It was actually kind of nice because we had to play at a whisper compared to the volume we usually played at. It was incredibly intimate and we could watch the expressions on customers faces when we played something they really liked. We continued to be a favorite band among customers for quite some time. The band was called Freewind.

EXCELLENT music nice big bar 2 pool tables with plenty of room to play. The beers and shot glasses were nice and cold. It was very clean and well kept.. the only downfall was the ONE bartender was clearly not there to work but more so to fraternize with one particular customer. Other than that if they get a new bartender it would be a great place!

Bar staff was great, but the bouncers are too aggressive and rude. Had a huge altercation over a free drink I was holding on ladies night while my gf was in the bathroom. Bouncer tried to yank it out of my hand and was extremely rude. when I refused to give it up threatened to kick me out even though I explained it was for my gf in the bathroom. Then said leave or pay 5$. Haha NO. I had already paid extra for actually decent vodka instead of well in the "free" drink. So I held my ground and he went grab his other bouncers he threatened me again. I still wasn't having it and refused because it was a ridiculous altercation. The owner came and it was all resolved with ease since he actually had some sense and wasn't a 5 foot something angry dwarf. After talking to the owner all was well, but the tension was still there since the bouncer fella felt played. Other than that it...

I have gone to the windbreak a total of three times. After each time, I tell myself I never want to go back. Yesterday, I ended up at the Windbreak again for a friend's birthday. We got there right before cover charges were collected at the door and we thought to ourselves, "Great timing." Maybe ten minutes later, an employee came to our table and enforced the cover charge. After clarification from the employee, everyone is charged a cover at a certain time regardless of what time you arrived at the Windbreak. The entire place smells a little musty. It's cash only until a certain hour (11pm I think). After 11, it's a $10 minimum for any card. Since drinks are cheap, $10 forces a purchase of nearly 4 drinks at least. The bands are fun and there are pull tabs and tables. I feel like I'm always being nickel and dimed or forced to spend more money. I hope...

Lol wow. I just walked into the Windbreak after convincing my friend to go there with me when they really didn’t want to. The bartender walks up and says “what’re you drinking” no smile. We’re like hey! How are you how’s your night? I tried to order a spicy Tito’s caesar and the bartender looks me in the eyes and say “I’m not making that for you right now”. As the Clamato is sitting on top of the cooler. I said wait are you serious? And he said yeah. Buddy I volume bartend for a living. Never would I ever talk to or treat a customer like that?? You can stop by my bar some night after work and I will gladly make you whatever drink you want with a full bar and a smile on my face :) you have definitely lost me as a customer. I came over Pourhouse and this bartender gladly made me exactly what I wanted with a smile on his...
