They are so incredibly rude and ruined my entire day. I paid $46 for 2 chicken and waffles meals and a Strawberry banana smoothie. I called in my order as priced are higher online than in store. When I got to the restaurant to pay, I wanted to use my loyalty points as I've already spent $140+ in this restaurant and wanted this order to be credited to my Daily Jam account. The employee who rung me out was new, and said she didn't know how to operate the system--so she reached out to a colleague who clearly was uninterested in helping and told me to essentially "go online and figure it out."
SO, I do as instructed and I go online and read that there are 2 ways to collect loyalty points. The first was is by using the card that is linked to the account, and the second way is by scanning a loyalty card at checkout. I then proceed to ask the employee to if she can scan my loyalty card as I used a different card than is tied to the account and she says that she is "going to go get the manager to help" because, again, she is new. WELL. She goes and gets the same colleague who was NO HELP in the beginning and this colleague then proceeds to say "I already told her what to do"......are you kidding me? That's how we are speaking to paying customers on March 8, 2024? that was incredibly rude to me! Why are you unwilling to assist someone who is kindly asking for help? Why are you questioning why I am asking for my loyalty points to be credited to my order? Do you care about your customers returning at all?
I don't know about you all, but I love a loyalty program because it incentivizes return visits. At this point however, I will not return to Daily Jam if they are going to humiliate their loyal customers who are simply...
Read moreThis was one of the worst brunch experiences I have had in a long time. We arrived a little after 10:30 and there was a small wait about 30 minutes which was not bad. It was very busy and where we were seated by the door was less than ideal as there were people waiting to be seated standing right by our table a little too close for comfort. There was three of us we all ordered something to drink only two of us got our drinks. We had to ask twice for the other drinks which took forever to come out. The drinks were not good at all most specifically the transfusion. The prickly pear Margarita tasted like it was pure sugar and no alcohol. When the food came two of our dishes look like they had been sitting in oil and was not hot. One person had tacos there was barely any meat and it was mostly all purple cabbage that tasted like it was old and had been cut several days prior it did not taste fresh at all. He asked twice for water refills and never got any. None of the people in our party finished our food nor did we take to go because it was that bad. And before we even left the restaurant our stomachs are already hurting and all three of us had battery actions to the food for the rest of the day. The waitress was very nice however she seemed like she was having a hard time keeping track of people's orders. For the price and the quality of the food I would have rather gotten McDonald's breakfast. We definitely will not...
Read moreSo there we were, two traveling Texans far from our state and craving a bit of the taste of home.. in Michican. We happened upon Daily Jam by accident but aren't those the best kind? Great place- clean, bright and full of chatty locals who were a real delight to talk with- they did not even mind the twang. But, I digress. Staying on a healthy eating plan while traveling is full of challenges and I hate that it has turned me into "that person" who has special requests.. and I try to keep them minimal. Like no cheese or potatoes (though they looked SO good) - I needed a healthy breakfast and hoped Daily Jam would deliver. In a word, they did and with out raising an eyebrow. I know that this is the norm now a days and it is so easy to eat poorly but our waitstaff did not mind at all making adjustments, even suggesting substititions that were spot on and thoughtful, meaning they were really listening to us and ready to help. Delicious breakfast, outstanding coffee (HELLO Great Lakes coffee, you will be hearing from me soon) and the manager making the rounds checking on everyone, stopping to talk and really caring about their customers. Sadly we flew out that night and I do not know when I will get back to Daily Jam but should I find myself in the Michican again (which I hope to because it is a lovely state!), I will make a beeline back to this excellent little spot that launched our day for...
