If I could have told everyone when I worked there, not to eat the food. I would have. If I could have had a health inspector there, I would have. I got hired into that place with nothing but respect, loyalty and teamwork talked about the entire interview, and orientation. . . . I tried so hard to deal with the place. The managers don't clean, besides Kirk, they talk so much trash behind everyone's back and cause drama in the work place.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND a health inspector drop in and just walk into that kitchen. . . . If you see the front counter area and drive thru is cleaner than the grill area, that's because I was deep cleaning, both my fiancé and I while we were employed and we were told not to...that we were making others look bad, and specifically that it was Dales job...(Another manager)
I hired into this place with full intentions on becoming a manager. Until the mask came off. They DONT TRAIN you!!! And then Nancy, the GM talks to you like your dirt, when it ISN'T your fault you don't know the entire job description specifically because they failed to tell you.
The assistant manager is pregnant, so that means she has no reason to do her job, because pregnancy makes you handicapped. She specifically told me my first or second day she doesn't care to get to know names or train you, simply because people never stay.
Don't you think they'd want better for their store. Poor Kirk puts up with so much!!!
I tried so hard to be above and beyond to try and help, just to get treated with disrespect.
I highly recommend a health inspector in there immediately. DON'T EAT THERE!!!! There's dead fish behind freezers, they never clean the grills or the floor around them....I was specifically told they haven't done a deep clean since the main people came down, and I was told that was 3 years ago.
Captain D's itself, the owners, have had no problem making things right where the GM wouldn't with my fiancé's paycheck (as it wasn't her personal problem) I just wish I could have had every customer comes behind the counter to see where they're food was being cooked....how...
Read moreOrdered through Grubhub at 5:03PM. First GH driver, Brittany, arrived to pick up around 5:10PM. At 5:46PM, Brittany was still unable to pick up my order, so she unassigned it. Rachel took the open order, and she arrived at D’s at 5:56PM. I called Captain D’s, and they claimed my order “had been ready, and they don’t know why it hasn’t been picked up.” That employee is full of it. Rachel explained the drive thru line is around the building, not moving, and the lobby doors are LOCKED. Not for COVID, not for maintenance, but because they were busy as explained to Rachel by the employee that finally unlocked the door. Then, I went a little unorthodox due to the delay and asked Rachel to unseal the bags and verify everything is there and not cold at this point because it’s already been over an hour. THEY DID NOT EVEN HAVE THE FULL ORDER IN THERE AFTER ALL THIS TIME. The GH driver was so communicative and helpful, but Captain D’s was so unprofessional on so many levels. Turn of GH ordering if you can’t keep up. Be honest with a customer if you’re super busy and they call asking about their order. DO NOT LOCK YOUR DOORS DURING BUSINESS HOURS. (I’ve worked in fast food chains. That’s a big no-no, and it WILL be reported.) Being busy and short staffed sucks, and I do sympathize. However, they handled it terribly. Read moreRidiculous rude management. I ordered through Captain D's website for delivery. It took more than 40 minutes to get the delivery-no problem. The problem started with several items missing from the order. I contacted Doordash who proceeded to reach out to the restaurant. No answer. I was then told I would need to contact the restaurant since I ordered through their website. I was able to get through the first time only to be told by a RUDE manager that I would need to get the missing items from the restaurant....I ordered delivery for a reason. I simply asked for a refund of the missing items and the DD driver tip since they did not ensure the order was correct. The manager then proceeded to tell me that I would need to return the WHOLE order to get a refund. Seriously?! I called Doordash again to see if they could once again get through since I was able to and AGAIN...this place will not answer the phone. Horrible management that is not willing to make things right. At this point, they have not provided items that were paid for... a great way to justify theft Farmington Captain...
