I recently had the pleasure of attending a meet and greet with a candidate for Missouri Governor at the ColJac Artisan Cafe, and it was an unforgettable experience. This charming coffee shop provided the perfect setting for such an event, showcasing its wonderful atmosphere and exceptional offerings.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm, inviting ambiance of the cafe. The cozy seating arrangements and tasteful decor made it easy to settle in and feel at home. The friendly staff were attentive and ensured that everyone was comfortable and well taken care of throughout the event.
The highlight of the evening, of course, was the coffee. ColJac Artisan Cafe takes pride in its craft, and it shows. The coffee was rich, flavorful, and expertly brewed. Each cup was a testament to their commitment to quality and passion for the art of coffee making.
In addition to the fantastic coffee, the selection of treats was nothing short of delightful. From freshly baked pastries to delectable sweets, there was something to satisfy every palate. Each bite was a delicious reminder of the cafe's dedication to using high-quality ingredients and creating memorable culinary experiences.
The meet and greet itself was a huge success, thanks in no small part to the excellent venue provided by ColJac Artisan Cafe. It was the perfect blend of professionalism and warmth, allowing meaningful conversations to flourish in a relaxed setting. The candidate, along with attendees, clearly appreciated the thoughtfulness and care that went into organizing the event.
Overall, ColJac Artisan Cafe exceeded all expectations. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee, enjoying a leisurely afternoon with friends, or hosting a special event, this cafe is a true gem. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place with a wonderful atmosphere and outstanding...
Read moreThe name of the cafe got my hopes up that there would be drinkable third-wave coffee in Farmington. Unfortunately, I should’ve known better when I saw the gazillion syrup pumps behind the counter and the server asked me immediately what flavor I would like in my latte (good coffee does not need flavoring!), and I really should’ve known better when she went over and pressed a button on an automated coffee maker to make my coffee.
The kicker was when they dared to charge me a whopping five dollars for a very mediocre beverage of flavorless coffee and scalded too-sweet milk. That is quite a bit more expensive than what just about every third-wave specialty coffee shop charges for a beverage that is in a completely different league. Sorry for the harsh review, but it was the cost that really put it over the top for me.
Sadly, nothing artisan about the coffee here. (My review focuses on the coffee; I can't speak to the food as I did...
Read moreThis is one of my fav coffee shops in the area. I'm not from Farmington, but I come down often to hike. This is one of the only places I can find that's open and nearby on a Sunday.
The first time I visited, May 2023, there was a coffee table with comfy leather chairs. I'm sad to see that's gone. I enjoyed reading a book called The Way Things Work, while I drank a Chai Tea Latte with oat milk and toffee flavoring.
I also tried the veggie quesadilla, it was good.
This time, Feb 2024, I got the same Chai Tea and a pizza. I meant to order a pizza with the hand tossed crust and ended up with a thin crust Supreme pizza instead. That was probably because I said I wasn't "regular crust" and wasn't reading the menu fully.
Next time, I'm getting a hand tossed pizza! And probably a boozey coffee. I love that even though this place closes at 2pm or 4pm, they still serve drinks...
