I love these restaurants. My problem is that there isnt staff. We went this morning for fathers day breakfast and my husband and I got there early waited in line like you are supposed to. We waited for 45 mins to be seated for 9 adults and one child. We were told after 15 mins that its be around 20 minutes. We were ok with that. Most of our party follow the hostess to the front patio area while she cleaned the tables. While that was going on there was another 20 people or so waiting at the back of the building waiting to be seated and in came an older group of people. They didn't wait in line the walk straight to the patio area and started to sit where we were told we were sitting. This group didnt wait for staff to seat them. They were very rude and obviously much to good to wait like all the rest of the customers. So they sat in a area that now taxed our waitress with two giant tables. They order prior and were finished prior to all the other customers that waited their turn. Are waitress did a good job with the situation she was placed in by no fault of her own. The kitchen messed up several of our orders but our waitress made it better. Suggestions have a hostess the can control the customers and that is only a hostess and sits people based on first come...
Read moreMy eggs were obviously raw, with the non-solidified white running onto my plate. I made the server aware of this and she simply took the entire plate away. I was ok with nothing being done, just wanted to pay and leave but she came back and started to argue about how over easy means raw in the middle. In the entire history of cooking eggs, over easy means cooked well but with a runny yolk and that sunny side up can sometimes have a less done white. She argued more and I asked for a manager and she promptly said she was the manager. I mentioned you shouldn't argue with customers and I asked for a number to call and she refused to give me one. I paid and left, I have been eating at the Factory since they opened as an indoor flea market, well before the salted duck and whatnot, I frequented the one that replaced at&t often and went to the one in park hills with co-workers several times. Whomever owns the Factory Diner should be aware that your waitress/manager is costing you customers. This customer and his wife and friends and family and coworkers all for a couple of dollars...
Read moreI have not been here for years a friend and I went this morning and the diner was very busy. We stood at the entrance for a long time and realized no one was going to seat us. All of the empty tables and booths were covered with cups and dirty dishes. We finally just sat down at a booth. My friend moved the dirty dishes from our booth, finally, because no one came to clean our table, to another dirty table. We waited another 20 minutes to get a drink order. Then the girl that brought the drink order literally had her fingers on the rim of the glasses like that’s how she carried them from the top. Her uniform was filthy and we were grossed out. We asked for straws then we waited another 30 minutes- plus for someone to come take our order and our food to come and the food was not good and our table was never even cleaned off. Absolutely disgusting -get your staff together. This is flu season and carrying glasses from the rim is absurd. Honestly, both girls looked a...
