Casa Sol — Restaurant in Farmington

This is the 2nd time I have been to this location and the service is subpar at best. The food lacks seasoning of any kind. My chicken fajita was very bland and needed me to add my salsa and pico to it for flavor (the salsa and chips were good. Salsa is a little on the spicy side, take a small bite to test before digging in). During this visit, the server was not very friendly and seemed inconvenienced when asked a question. The refused to prepare my food in its own pan due to my allergies, they said they could only cleanthe grill which still is cross contaminated (it can be separated because it was done before) and I made my order with no cheese or dairy and I had to send it back because they put cheese and sour cream on it. Unable to eat my food

Then as we are finishing up they came and said we needed to leave because they were closing at 5pm (we didn't realize and were trying to hurry and finish with the entire staff watching us)!

Very disappointed all...

Went there to try out their new buffet a few Sundays ago. Loved the idea of a buffet full of Mexican foods. Food was hot and fresh, but it seemed like everything was made with chicken. No other meat choices except bbq ribs that were scorched on one side. Food had a good flavor overall and was seasoned well. However while sitting at our table we noticed they had a very bad gnat problem. They were literally crawling all over the wall, across our table, and trying to fly into our food/drinks while we ate. Upon returning to the buffet I noticed the gnats were also swarming around the cold side of salad bar and crawling across the cold foods. Glad I steered clear of that side. I completely understand gnats can be problematic when they get in your house but in a place of business serving foods to paying customers this problem should be taken care of quickly. Also prices for quality of food offered seemed to be on the high side. It will be a while...

The food was absolutely amazing, but the second shift waitress was horrible, it was the first time we had been in there in almost a year, and it was the same waitress as we had the last time we had been in there, being a waitress myself, I was very disappointed in the fact that she hadn't improved at all in a year. I would have understood had they been busy, but there was us (my boyfriend & I) and one table of 3 that walked in after us. It took 15 mins just to get our drinks, and another 10 just to get chips and salsa. Like I said the food was phenomenal, they just either need to train her way better or find someone that actually knows what...
