Avoid this restaurant if you want to get a good value for your money and not be overcharged for incredibly small pathetic portions. We have eaten at many different Mexican restaurants around the country, and this one by far left us the most disappointed. We paid over $22 for a beef fajita plate, and it came out looking like this. They really did their best to cover the entire plate, but it just looked sad. We also asked for a $8 plate of chicharonnes and received this small pile of pork kibble bits (see picture). These are definitely not chicharonnes. The chips basket was tiny as well and they charge for chip refills. The drinks are all naturally charged for refills too. Expect to pay $4 for a horchata drink per each refill. It seems they are very hard up for money and cutting many corners by making the portion sizes incredibly tiny. They have many signs up on the table and in the menus making it clear there are no free refills, so don’t even bother asking. Talk about being nickeled and dimed. Go elsewhere where you can get fed a truly filling meal and avoid being overcharged for little food scraps. If you are a mouse and like to nibble on scrap bits while being drained of your hard earned money; you will leave here hungry, but absolutely...

So I decided to try this place out today, came in, and got seated right away. Which was off to a good start, but then, after being seated, it took a while to get a menu finally. I ended up ordering their lunch special, which was the beef enchilada platter with beans and rice. The price on that was $14, along with a fountain drink that was $4. Tax and everything rounded up to $20. I would have to say the food wasn't that bad but could have been better. The main problem I had with my food was that my rice wasn't cooked all the way. It still felt hard and crunching, which wasn't cooked thoroughly. The Hispanic waitress I had was very friendly, but she really didn't check up on me often. I don't know why. I didn't even get a chance to tell her the rice was not even cooked all the way, so I just left it on the plate. In the end, when she cashed me out, she apologized, but It was too late, and I was already leaving. I will be back to give this place another try, maybe then I will have a better experience. There was another young lady Caucasian she was super nice, always checking if I needed to...

I have found my new Favorite place! I have never had chile rellenos prepared this way not to mention a stuffed chili relleno. It was amazing! I apologize for the half-eaten plate I should have taken a picture prior to digging in..... had I known how yummy it was going to be I would have. I highly recommend this place and their service is outstanding. They're very much on top of everything but they're not overwhelming to where you want to say please give me a chance to enjoy my food. Great atmosphere, great food, great prices! I wish there were more stars for this review.
