To start off, I ordered a platter with brisket, pulled pork and baby back ribs. The cashier apologised and began to tell me they were out of something, I don't know what because she was "shushed" by a man in the food prep area behind her. After paying and waiting about 15 minutes my number was called and then I was informed they didn't have any ribs.I was offered an extra serving of brisket or pulled pork. I reluctantly chose brisket. Big mistake as the brisket was cut very thin , almost as thin as deli sandwich meat. Worse, it was flavorless. Only edible with sauce on it. The sauces were pretty good. The pulled pork was bland and this description was a consensus of multiple people in our party. My wife tried to order a half chicken plate because we had just seen one served to a lady in front of us but the cashier kept steering her to a pulled chicken plate . My wife went along and got what she says was about 4 to 6 ounces of chicken meat with a lot of connective tissue (cartilage) from where the meat connects to the bone. Her words. Not worth the $30 plus tip. Go to the grocery and get a pork butt and even a small brisket flat and smoke them yourself. Better quality , better flavor and way more meat for the money. ย ย ย Read moreI absolutely love their BBQ!! I docked a star due to the portions on the sides & the less than pleasant fries. Their fries are cut in-house, however, (which is great), but somehow they arrived soggy & flavorless. Their fries are the only thing I've tasted that I was disappointed with; furthermore they're the only thing I haven't thought was amazing (oh yeah, I suppose I shouldn't forget the cheap hamburger bun ๐). But in order to deliver the taste they do at the prices they offer - it's better to skip the needless carbs of the bun anyway ๐. Their sour-cream-base potato salad is a unique delight as well. The mac & cheese is oven baked & has a slight smoke flavor. The baked beans are simple, yet perfectly delicious. The pulled pork (& every single sauce [#1 - #6]) are nostalgically blissful. The "volcano" sauce did not disappoint this Texan when it came to bringing the heat! I'm glad they brought the flavor too; a lot of sauces that are made so spicy lack in flavor. I didn't feel that way with this one. I have in the past, & will continue to recommend this place to other folks looking for, as my Dad used to say, "screamin' good"...

On a few occasions my order has been missing significant items such as ribs or brisket, which makes up a good portion of the cost. Check your order, if you can. If you are ordering through a delivery service/someone else is picking up for you ~ good luck.
All in all, the location is convenient and the food is good when it's all there. Portions could be larger and should be consistent, for the price considering how small the ribs are. Employees could be a little better about checking that the order is right.
