Cicis Pizza: Good Flavor, but Room for Improvement
Rating: ★★★☆☆
I recently dined at Cicis Pizza, and while I found the pizza flavor to be good, there were several aspects of my experience that left me disappointed. It's worth noting that I have always enjoyed the brand, but this particular location requires immediate management attention to address issues that impact both customers and employees.
Starting with the positive, the pizza at Cicis was flavorful and satisfying. The variety of options allowed me to try different toppings and combinations, enhancing my dining experience. The taste of the pizza itself met my expectations and delivered a delicious meal.
However, I couldn't help but notice the poor working conditions that the employees seemed to endure. Many of them appeared tired and demoralized, which reflected in their overall demeanor. It was evident that they were not being adequately supported or provided with a conducive work environment. Management should prioritize the well-being of their employees to ensure a positive atmosphere and customer experience.
Moreover, the lack of air conditioning in the restaurant was a significant drawback. Considering that dining establishments aim to create a comfortable space for customers, the absence of air conditioning left me feeling uncomfortable and dampened my overall enjoyment of the meal. It is essential for management to address this issue promptly to enhance the dining experience and create a more pleasant environment for both employees and customers.
Another notable concern was the lack of cleanliness throughout the restaurant. The dirty floors were an immediate visual deterrent, detracting from the overall ambiance. Additionally, the state of the bathrooms was a true nightmare, reflecting a lack of attention to cleanliness and maintenance. A clean and hygienic environment is crucial for any dining establishment, and it is imperative that management takes immediate action to address these cleanliness issues.
Lastly, I was disappointed to find that, despite there being less than 20 diners in the restaurant, the pizza supply was inadequate to meet the demand. This suggests a lack of planning and inventory management. It is essential for the management to ensure that they have enough pizza available to serve their customers, regardless of the number of diners present. This oversight created an inconvenience and resulted in a less than satisfactory experience.
In summary, my experience at this Cicis Pizza location was a mixed bag. While the pizza flavor was good, the working conditions for the employees were clearly subpar, which had a negative impact on their morale and overall performance. The lack of air conditioning, dirty floors, and nightmarish bathrooms further diminished the dining experience. Additionally, the insufficient pizza supply despite low customer numbers revealed inadequate planning and inventory management. I genuinely hope that management takes note of these issues and addresses them promptly to improve the overall quality of the dining experience at this...
Read moreVery disappointed in todays dinner service. Came in the door and the cashier did not great us, instead, the only words out of her mouth were "3?" What happened to "welcome to cici's...how are you....what can I get you"?? And a free smile does not cost anything either (just a little hint for that heavier set girl that was working tonight, sorry, you did not introduce yourself, nor did you wear a name tag)...Had our drink cups handed to us and as we walked around the corner we noticed the dirty salad bar,the remaining few salad leafs was already wilting, nothing was cleaned up, a big mess everywere... and not forget to mention the wobbeling table...well...we already had paid and we usually like the pizza at Cici's so we went ahead and gotten our food. The lady that was working behind the pizza bar was very nice and she kept her area fairly clean. I asked my husband if he had seen the manager since I felt like I needed to advise him of his duties and to show him my concerns..no manager in sight. A little while later a shorter guy in a red shirt came in the door, walked right passed the messy salad bar and disappeared behind the pizza bar.. not looking at the pizza or salad bar, hiding the whole time..and the young heavier set lady that was working the salad bar and the cash register did not feel the need to tighten up the area or put up new salad items. There was not enough traffice for her to be busy behind the cash register, she had plenty of time to clean up the area and to keep it nice looking. Instead a customer had to raise his hand and to point at the empty nasty salad bowls. This should have been the duties of the associate and the manager, not a customer! All I can say is that this was the last time that we went to this place. If the manager or associates do not care how the area looks and how the food looks, just imagine what goes on behind the bar! There are plenty of people that are in need of a job and who care and who would love to provide exellent customer service...Cici's at this place needs to change big times....Sincerey, a very disappointed never...
Read moreGot here at 730pm on a Sunday, keep in mind, they don't close until 10pm. We were very excited about there being a Cici's semi near. We actually drove about 45 minutes to get here. We were not greeted, just someone standing near the register. On top of the normal buffet we got an order of wings but was not asked if we wanted boneless or traditional, when they came out they were boneless and honestly the best part of the meal. As we were ordering, there was a guy taking the salad bar apart and I expressed that I was looking forward to a salad. He said it wasn't closed and it would be sitting out but I didn't see the lettuce just the toppings sitting in front on the counter. So, I skipped and was spooning some noodles into a bowl when, who I only deduced was the manager, came running up and said the noodle bar was down and snatched the Alfredo sauce out of the well and proceeded to start cleaning the station. Then went down and got pizza, which looked like had been sitting for a little bit, I get it it's a buffet but we weren't asked if there was a pizza we wanted to be made. Rest of the meal was fine except when I asked if they could make a pizza, they went to ask the mgr and she ultimately said yes but didn't really want to make it. Asked for a pepperoni and the guy pulled it out from under the bar and they didn't have to even make one. However, as we were finishing up and about to leave, the mgr was putting several more pizzas out on the bar. Was not a great experience and will most likely rather go 45 minutes to the one in Cary instead next time. Maybe that one will be a...
