Though the store layout is nice in Westside Village, the customer service is not. I entered the store and was greeted by someone from the back of the store. That was the extent of the customer interaction while in the store. There were three associates in the store who were too busy having a conversation with each other rather than asking if I needed anything or a fitting room. At some point I noticed one associate who seemed to show up in every area that I was looking at clothes, again no customer interaction. I suppose that was her attempt at "loss prevention" profiling. I eventually had to ask for a fitting room and another associate opened the door. This happened before a few years back, yet against my better judgment I went back thinking that it was an isolated incident. The second visit is on me as I should not have expected this store to value customer service as one of their top priorities. Maybe this is the culture at this location. Negative customer service experiences influence where I choose to spend my money as well as the likelihood of my return. Unless I lower my expectations, this store will not get a third time to ignore me as a customer. For an organization that states that giving the customer the quality and attention they deserve is what sets it apart from the others, this must not apply to this store.
