Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Fayetteville

7/14/24 extremely slow service. Ordered ahead with estimate of 5:24p and I got here at 530p.i checked in and after 10 minutes pressed the button and "my order sound be out shortly. " There is no one here, but maybe 2 cars that came after me. Its 545 and my small shake and small side are not been brought out. Then random staff asking me do I have a doordash- no I do not. Then a 2nd time they ask about a doordash and only have a small bag in hand and no drink. So they sent out only pay off the order and the staff goes back in to make it and then comes out with it. I don't know which location in Fayetteville is the worst. This one is consistent bad service and low quality food. The staff look, speak, and act like they don't care at all. I can't tell you how long I keep saying I won't be back (of and on since they opened thriving the years) . But with the summer heat you come here. I'm done with this company period. They don't always do anything when you contact the support. 20 minute wait for 1 small shake & 1 small side. Mozzarella sticks not even fresh and definitely not made within the last 20 minutes. Soggy cheesecake Graham cracker crumb pieces and melted icecream. Waste of money and into the trash can. They always refuse a refund at the store or with support from my experiences. *Surprisingly, the manager on duty was willing to give a refund when I called to report the issue. It's honestly not worth the gas coming all the way back to the store to get a refund.

7/10/24 : I've had bad service since last visit, with a few okay visits. Order ahead is never ready. Staff comes out and randomly ask you "is this your order?" I've had them forget part of my order several visits. If my order ahead is supposed to be ready at 652pm (10min from when placed) and I arrive 7pm but it wasn't brought out until 715pm. I waited 15 minutes for 1 slushy and 1 small Buffalo bites. At least the drink was a picture this time. Average for my experience still very low.

11 months ago Original June 2023: Ordered ahead in app. Server brought out only my food and I had to tell her I had a drink, so she went back in to get my slushy. Polynesia slushy didn't look as pictured- isn't it the red one? But it tasted like coconut slushy, and looked just like ice slushy. Surprisingly the food was not as I checked the items were in the bag. When I got home I noticed only the popcorn chicken & mozz sticks were fresh, and not the chicken sandwich (that doesn't have mayo). It looks nasty & not fresh. For this reason I've not ordered a breaded chicken product in years from here. Side salad iceberg lettuce looks better than the "lettuce" on sandwich. Why does your lettuce look like the trash swept off the floor from last night's shift?🤔 Breaded chicken wet, soaked, and not from grease. Your surrounded in walking distance by competitors and mcds 2 min across the street. I usually stick to drinks, side items, and maybe hotdogs. I don't like your burgers and I'm done with anything breaded chicken, especially sandwich. Your advice here is hit or miss, and so is the food these days- don't know what your going to get. 2 Nov 2020 at 0723hrs, receipt/chk 16! Ring the alarm!!! I absolutely LOVE the high quality customer service, friendliness, professionalism and teamwork of the staff at Sonic on Good Middling Drive! I arrived very early this morning and was greeted by Rob, who was very cheerful! He smiled and greeted me again at the window, while handing my beverages, as I handed my form of payment! Literally no time wasted from drive-thru speaker to window before receiving beverages! Before I could open my straw to take a sip, Rob was handing out my two #19 Brioche combos with sausage, add bacon, with medium tots, and one medium and one large coke. Listen...Donovan was on the grill...I know because I asked before I drove off, once I felt my bag piping hot! Before I turned out of Sonic's parking lot, I was going all in on my breakfast sandwich! The brioche is the best bread ever! Evenly toasted and buttered nicely. Then we have the egg, yes, beautifully made, not burnt or flakey, but fluffy! It is folded, but it appears and tastes like a real egg, not a fake like the folded ones that I've experienced before, so Sonic, you have something here! Next, we have my two main stars...bacon and sausage!!! Oh how I love them! Also with that nicely melted slice of cheese in the midst...oh my goodness, served to perfection!!! I'm telling you, this is Fayetteville's Drive-thru and America's Drive-thru, but most of all, me and my daughter's Drive-thru! We ate there yesterday. The food was not fresh enough. It's been left in the warmer too long, so its barely warm, and just meh.

The quality of food has changed in the last 5 or more years too. Corn dogs are smaller. They use to be a normal sized hot dog. Now they're skinnier and a tad shorter. Popcorn chicken just wasn't as good as I remember, and maybe that's because it was older, but I won't know. Fries seemed okay but extra salty. This would happen for me when I managed a sonic store if we didn't clean the fry station. My kid said her burger didn't taste good where there weren't pickles. I'm sure the patties were left in the warmer.bMy other kid said he liked his burger.

I ordered some extra tater tots, and I brought up the concerns to a car hop when she brought them out. She said nothing in return. I didn't ask to speak to a manager, I wanted to see how she would deal with it. I am doubtful she even mentioned it, she didn't apologize or say anything at all about it.

I'd go back for the park, but we aren't going to eat or drink there often. When I had started working at a sonic I noticed how nasty things could get at the drink station too. We had slimey fruits when the ice would melt above the soda fountain that held the fruits for drinks. I'm sure with all that we experienced, they're slacking on cleaning there too.
