Personally, I have been eating here for years now. Sometimes I switch it up and get different things regardless, the food never fails to be amazing. Whenever I need to clear my sinuses, whenever I feel like I might be getting a cold or otherwise, I go here (masked obviously, and sanitizing my hands. Cleanliness and being considerate are key in all things ☺️) and I have yet to be disappointed. The staff? PHENOMENALLY friendly and always welcoming! I love the papers they have posted that teach you basic greetings in Thai and share their culture with you. I for sure recommend their Thai tea, it is better than what you can get from the Sun Supermarket in a can (not calling them out, I love their supermarket and I’m always looking for my Thai tea fix 🤪😍) and is an excellent pairing with their food. From the staff to the food, culture, and dine-in environment, you really can’t go wrong visiting here (Dine-in is affected by Covid, but the interior is still pleasing to the eye). Only thing that might be a slight issue is that they’re so good, it makes them constantly busy lol. Not a bad thing, but it’s definitely relevant if you plan on calling in ahead of time to place your order. The phone line is forever busy 😂 but to me that’s a good sign of a thriving and...
Read moreI was given the wrong type of fried rice which is no big deal. After I arrived home I had my girlfriend call the store to inform them we were given the wrong type of fried rice. They proceeded to argue with my girlfriend telling her I ordered what I know I didn’t. So I drove back to the location. The lady at the front desk proceeded to argue with me for five minutes in the store over some fried rice trying to tell me what I order. I will say I wanted plain fried rice and not house fried rice because it contains pork which I haven’t eaten in 13 years and even after explaining this she still argued and claimed I ordered what I didn’t. I was very respectful in saying ma’am maybe there was a misunderstanding but I’d just like to get plain fried rice. She then proceeded to tell me I would have to pay half price for the plain fried rice which I refused to do. Why would you argue with a paying customer over rice. What happened to...
Read moreSo let me explain why I'm only giving one star. The store appeared to be very clean, and the staff that I interacted with seem to be very polite and friendly. The reason behind only the one star is only because, that had to have been the worst Thai food I have ever had. Yes it was hot and fresh. But when you order Thai hot and it barely even makes you break a sweat, that's not good Thai food. If you are going to be an authentic Thai restaurant, do not try and be an American Thai restaurant but stick to your roots and be a full-time a restaurant. Ever since I have left Fort Lewis I have been looking and looking and looking for a Thai restaurant that was as good as the restaurant in Tillicum. I was hoping to find it with this Thai restaurant but they were far from the mark. Once again very friendly very clean I like the way you can see the food being cooked right in front of you what is the end of the day...
