Owner called me and wanted to try to fix things. I really appreciate that. I do wish the apps that link restaurants were better at sharing what protein the toppings are made of. I am actually thrilled to know nothing is pork.
The ingredients seem to be high quality, although theyre different than what were use to, and its not made clear on the ordering sites (the toppings are not pork). I unfortunately ordered too many "wet" ingredients for my calzone, and it was soggy on the bottom (it was cooked all the way, just soggy still), and several wet spots inside. I wasn't thinking about the ricotta being wet too, got tomatoes, mushrooms, jalapeños,the turkey bacon seemed very wet too. Or that may have been what the person at the restaurant said was "beef sausage". It tasted like ham (not that I thought it was ham, but that it just had the flavor, and I didnt enjoy that). I was expecting a firmer turkey bacon, but thats just how I cook it and wasnt expecting that either.
I know its more of the customer error, I called to see if they could make a replacement with less toppings for any of the items, mostly I was hoping at least the pizza cause that's what I planned for the kids today. The girl said she would contact the owner, but came back on the phone and said she had spoke with her coworker.
I was told that nothing is pork here, but the only thing listed as a different meat product is turkey bacon, and all other are just listed as they normally would be on 4 ordering services that I looked at before picking their preferred one called Slice. One of the ordering websites (doordash,Uber eats, ubereats, grubhub) didnt even have turkey bacon there so I was confused, and theres also "bacon" listed on there. My issue set aside, it would be important for someone with a red meat allergy to order from here their first time unbeknownst.
I added several toppings so my pizza and calzone were about 70 before tip.
Also, I didn't get service wear with it when I selected it in...
Read moreAlright so this is my second time here. My wife worked with the owner at the Fayetteville Automall and suggested this place. Both times I ordered pick up. The first I had a mushroom swiss burger. Ok look...that burger was absolutely amazing it wasn't a small burger by any means it was big, it was also a messy burger which that is a great sign. The cheese melted the onions cooked right mushrooms had abit of flavour. But the star was the burger juicy and it tasted grilled had a seasoning I cannot put my finger on but Id highly recommend. Second visit so I had a poor enough experience elsewhere for my wings and I was going to stick with what I knew but my weakness for wings was too great. I gave this place a go. I ordered the lemon pepper and they were perfect. The wings a great size, quality of the meat to me excellent they had a crisp outside juicy inside and the lemon seasoning the coating was very flavorful. I love their lemon seasoning. I will be back to try their other wings when I do I will add pictures. The customer service the dame running the counter she was a sweetheart and the cooks in the back sounded like a close family having some laughs and great interactions yet they were on top of their game. The cooking was amazing. The service was amazing I am going back. I was originally going to go there for a key dish to bring me back to my old home if you will, but the Mediterranean options were not available at the time for those who have been here and that is your regular, but do not let that discourage you so far between the 2 dishes I had and the customer service. It is extremely worth it. I will be updating as my...
Read moreI used to work at my church a couple blocks away, and I ordered lunch here 1-2 times per week. Since retiring, I don't come as often, but my husband and I came last night. The food was good as usual. I was on a Zoom call and being distracted, I left my purse given to me by my daughter-in-law (a Coach). I only realized it when we pulled into our driveway, 10 miles away. We hurried back to NY Deli, and when I walked in, the lady rushed over to greet me. She'd placed my purse behind the counter but held my receipt in her hand. She'd tried to call me (my phone was dead), so she texted me. Not only that, she was trying to find my address bc she couldn't reach me. She'd planned to try to bring it to me after work if she could! That was extraordinary effort. Their sandwiches are great and my grands love the pizza and Philly Cheese Steak. Thank...
