I found Milkshake Martini Gourmet Shake Bar by visiting the Iris Walk Plaza for a pre-birthday lunch!

When you walk in, you are greeted with the smell of sweet dough and milk. This familiar smell is contrasted with the fun on-trend "Brat" green displayed on the walls, advertising pictures of Milkshake Martini's extravagant sweets and treats.

The owner is warm and inviting and she recommends the Sweet Sadie for me and the Rehab for my Dad. Just like the spectacular color of the shop, the music is another ingredient that creates such a memorable experience. Frankie Beverly, Gap Band and The O'Jays were just a couple artists in rotation while we waited for our milkshakes which took about 15-20 minutes.

The Sweet Sadie is all chocolate. It's rich. And indulgent. The base is sweet and velvety with a beautiful chocolate chip/sprinkle rim. Chocolate syrup is drizzled on the sides and at the bottom of the cup with a thick fudge brownie adorned on top. It's been about 4 hours since I had my last gulps of this shake and I am still experiencing a major sugar rush. I am wired! And I would definitely drink another!
