The moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a show. I watched, almost in disbelief, as they put together my caramel macchiato—a drink that somehow managed to be so bad, I had to order a cocktail just to see if they could mess that up too. And guess what? They did. My martini arrived, not crisp and clean, but sweet—like some kind of twisted joke.

I’m not usually one to complain, but the attitude of the staff was something else. Snooty, like they were taking cues from whoever’s in charge. And if you look at other reviews, it’s clear this place has a problem with accountability. They’ll blame anything but themselves for their mistakes.

Then there was the gossip I overheard from the bar-ista—like something out of a scandalous play. They told me the owner is a habitual liar with untreated bipolar personality disorder. It’s no wonder the staff seemed so on edge, and even willing to trash their own boss behind the scenes. It’s a sad reflection of the chaos behind the curtain.

I’m not a huge coffee fan but I thought it would be fun to walk this coffee shop since it’s walking distance from my apartment. I asked if there was a menu and the lady said no, so I asked what was available. she replied “we have everything starbucks has but better” but when I asked her to give me examples, she turned cold. as she was explaining various drinks in an aggressive tone, i asked questions about the flavors of each drink and she had a very harsh tone and was extremely condescending. it’s pretty hard to order without a menu so of course I had questions about what was in each drink. I asked if I could add a shot of expresso and she replied in a snarky tone “EVERY iced coffee has expresso hun” and I had to explain to her that I’m not a huge coffee fan so I wasn’t aware. a simple “of course” would have sufficed. i can tell this coffee shop is a small business and i love supporting small businesses but this interaction was so unpleasant and unprofessional. the starbucks across the street has better coffee and is much friendlier, so I recommend that if you are...

My first experience here was absolutely lovely. I met up with some friends here to catch up because it seemed nice and it was such a good choice. The atmosphere is so nice, the staff is wonderful, they had live music by Jeremiah in the evening making it all the more a wonderful experience. There were friends catching up, someone drinking wine and painting the whole time, the atmosphere is honestly magnificent.

There were a couple employees training today so it took a little longer than average for our drinks to come out as they were showing them how to ring them up and make them, but that was honestly fine and not even a problem.
