My experience at the Waffle House off Gingercake Road today was disappointing. My friends and I walked through the Waffle House doors excited and hungry, but ended up leaving annoyed and unhappy. Our waitress took our drink orders and we asked for an extra minute to pick out a tasty meal. That extra minute turned into 15-20 minutes. We still hadn’t received our drinks nor were we asked our food orders. My friends and I sat waiting patiently because there were a few other hungry costumers. We waited and waited and finally had to stop our waiter to take care of us. She gave us our drinks and we again waited for our orders to be taken. We finally put our orders in. Finally. The food came to our table -too bad the food coming was wrong orders and incomplete orders. I ordered a biscuit with jam and jelly and I was served a plate of bacon. A couple of my friends only received half of their meals which is unacceptable. We again had to ask the waitress for the meals we actually ordered. We all eventually got our food... Our waitress was more than happy to give us our tickets to pay and we all begrudgingly payed for our tasteless food and poor service. Read moreFirst thank you for being open and attempting to serve. We went to this WH sunday morning and in just the 35 minutes we were there we noticed these actions by the employees. Actions we feel will keep us from returning until the C19 is solved. They kept to the distancing and no more than 10 in the store-- OK. Grill man pulled down his mask-- to under his chin for several minutes. After he pulled down his mask he continued to bring plates down and place food on grill and plates in front of him. #1 his hand touched the outside front of his covering #2 he handled food and plates #3 he was breathing all over the plates on the counter infront of him and then on the food as he plated it. Next: waitress: everything cool until she answered the phone and took down her mask. She stood at the end of our booth facing us while taking the phone order-- again with no mask cover while really standing over our food and table. (within 2 ft of us) Suggest better training. Suggest greeter at door to keep too many from coming in and to supervise employees in their habits. This is cridical time for resturants and they need to get this right...
Read moreThis is the second time ive been to this location and this cashier always wants to get over on some foolery and then act like she doesn't know what your talking about. This is the second time she has charged me for items I have not asked for and then I cant see an itemized receipt because their "receipt" solely shows the tender that was paid. I clearly ask for ONE WAFFLE with LIGHT CHOCOLATE CHIPS this is the second time I have asked for this and not only do i get 2 waffles it is SMOTHERED IN CHOCOLATE CHIPS. Not everyone wants diabetes. What's worse is paying $16 asking for the breakdown and she then doesn't read back exactly what I asked for and proceeds to tell me how much one waffle is. Yes that is what I asked for, so then how am I rung up for 2 of them. This the last time she gets me.
