Ho Mei on 92nd and Federal isn’t what others are saying. They added something in my egg drop soup because broth came out so orange. I’m not returning even if the food is reasonable. It is not as sanitary and they will mess around with your soup that were made in the back kitchen. It all started when I had a question about their Fried chicken wings and the lady (in her mid 40’s to early 50’s, she’s the owner as well) thought I was complaining because I had asked her if it comes in 3 or 4 pieces because I was only given the 3 pieces. The lady was rude and didn’t taking the time to understand.

Ran in here for a quick late lunch with my teens they loved it. The service was amazing we went in and spent 19$ on all this food I usually end up spending 40+ everywhere else we go. We still had enough left over for dinner the food was delicious in and out in less than 10 minutes because we couldn’t decide what to get. Definitely will be back when we are in the area and want a quick yummy lunch.

At first thought I was so impressed with the scoop size they serve in comparison to other scoop places. What rip offs!! No wonder they aren’t light on scoops- it’s all bread. Check out the sesame “chicken”!! Not a single piece of chicken in any of the 20 or so pieces served. Literally dough. Never again! Disgusting

I’m typically a harsh food critic. I like to think I have great taste. My favorite Chinese cuisine is located right behind Lakeside Amusement Park. It’s called Man Wah. I’ve had a really hard time finding anyone that could compare. They are pricey but it’s always worth the great food. This place right here is AMAZING! I am SO happy I found it conveniently located right by where I moved. The prices are unbelievable. My husband and I spent $12 and we each got a huge helping of food in a to go box. It includes two main course, your choice of egg roll or cheese wonton, your choice of fried rice or lo-mein, and you get a soda as well. The boxes are $4.89 but we got extra wontons (6 for $1.25)... to whoever left the review on small portions. I have NO idea how it wasn’t enough! They over fill these containers and it’s AMAZING food! Definitely a diamond in the rough here. From the outside it’s sketchy. We almost didn’t go in but thank god we did. My new favorite place because who can beat great food at an affordable price!?! Even my kids loved their lo-mein. That in itself is a blessing! I had to leave them the best review. I’ve gone twice now and they’ve never...

We went to buy 4 orders and didn't want combos, because we didn't want eggrolls/wontons and drinks, but then they started to give use one side and one entree. Generally Panda Express or any other similar fast food Chinese place will give you one side and 2 entrees. But the old lady said we couldn't pick 2 entrees because we didn't choose combos. I don't really understand that logic but we said fine, we'll take the combos for all 4 orders. But if only it ended there, as we paid and took our food and was leaving, the old lady said we haven't paid yet, even though we did, we paid the girl that worked there who kept silent the whole time and didn't tell the lady we paid or helped us in anyway. We contested that we did pay, but the old lady kept saying we didn't. My sister got fed up and just paid them again so we can get out of there asap. Throughout the whole experience, the old lady kept raising her voice and became more agitated and rude. Terrible experience and made us lose...

I truly wish I can give 0 stars. This was my family and I first time trying this place. When we came in, the woman behind the counter greeted us but not in a very friendly way. As we were all leach giving our orders to her she acted very irritated with us. Once we came home, we started to open and eat our meals, but nothing really tasted that great. The fried dumplings are pretty dry, however they would’ve been good if we would’ve gotten the sauce with them. The wontons were very generic too just a basic sweet cream cheese filling, very thin coating inside. The fried rice had a chicken taste to it for some reason but no chicken added. My orange chicken, did not taste like chicken either… I’m wondering if that’s cause the batter they used was to breast. My family said the same pretty much about their meals. We paid about $50 all together. Probably will never return. Def not worth it. Panda Express tastes better if you want some cheap Chinese other wise I’m gonna stick to...
