Very disappointed with my first time experience at this taco junior. We arrive a hour before close, told we can’t stay and eat because they are closing early when google states they close at 11. Ordered a pollo burrito, horchata and 3 pork tacos. $30 fricken dollars. Unbelievable. There are a million taco joints around. I don’t recommend this one. After arriving home since I can’t eat at the restaurant, I bite into my burrito that’s folded upside down so everything pours out. There 99%chicken to 1% bean and rice ratio. It’s such a sad $13 burrito. The other 3 pork tacos have one lousy super thin corn tortilla shell that breaks easily. Like how cheap can you be to not have 2 street taco shells when you are charging over $3 a piece for them. They are in the photos. Go somewhere else. This place is a rip off. Save your money. Go to loco hermando’s in Louisville. They have twice the taco for...
Read moreI’ve been coming here for many years for their carne asada tacos which I used to say were the absolute best in the area. Tonight I placed a to go order and when I got home the tacos looked completely different and tasted really bad. The meat was cut in large chunks and undercooked and the tortilla was a weird thick brown tortilla as opposed to the previous two thin tortillas. I called and asked if there had been a recent change and they said they no longer cook the asada in the pan, it’s on the grill now, and the tortillas are now made from an automatic machine. Additionally, they remodeled the entire interior and took out all the booths. It looks sterile in there now. I am not sure if management changed or something like that but we won’t we back. Additionally, the tacos used to be $2.50 and are now $3.65. This is a big disappointment because they used to be...
Read moreGreat place. Very clean, as mentioned in many reviews.
The food was very tasty. I tried the carnitas tacos and my hubby tried the al pastor and carne asada tacos. We both really enjoyed the tacos. They ask if you want the onions and cilantro on them, like many street tacos. The soft corn tortillas were grilled lightly which is great. They didn't take them out of a bag and throw food on them. When restaurants do that, the cold tortillas are chalky.
Everything was super fresh and delicious. And they came with multiple lime wedges.
Some of the other reviews mentioned that they were over priced. I didn't think so. At least not for the tacos. At $2.50 each for the street tacos, these were plentiful and well...
