La Autentica Poblana — Restaurant in Federal Heights

Well , it was a different experience, much more than I anticipated.

So i ordered a Semita beef or Milanesa...and tacos and a cucumber lime agua fresca. Initially i thought the price was a bit high but after realized i ordered quite a bit of food.

Ordered the food and got the Pepino limon water which was one of the best if not the best ive had here in CO. The food didn't take long to come out but sometimes tends to worry me more than surprise me as it may be rushed.

However it was not the case, yet upon receiving my order for some reason i guesstimated it was a bit light.

So started with the Semita and it was shocking to me how delicious and well prepared it was. The bun or semita was lightly toasted and it made everything taste heavenly. It had avocado,ham, milanesa, crema, queso oaxaca and more but it was very wall balanced and flavors fused and complimented each other. It was very cold day right before the feeze and despite me taking me a while to enjoy every bite before getting to the tacos; they were also very delicious as as the salsas. The tacos were not skimping on meat and still hot. Had barbacoa , cabeza and lengua. The tortillas are soft and one thing that stood out they were perfect for those that dont like the street style tacos with the grill oil.

I enjoy the various types and styles of tavlcos for those unaware and rating all by the same metrics. You have street tacos which tend to be closer to bite size and al vapor tacos which toetilals are steamed and homestyle and gourmet and my main metric is it delicious? These were amazing and he Semita was just something else so delicious had to buy few more to go to jave family taste them.

I would highly recommend specially the staff were very genuine welcoming and friendly. I will try to go more often, the lady said just to keep in mind they have to move every 3 months due to city ordinances but seem to move around the general area and will be there until...
