Today was my birthday and I wanted to go get a steak dinner at Lucky's. However, I remembered seeing the parking lot full at the new Texas Roadhouse the night before, so I thought... let's try it out. I was a little worried about it being a new restaurant. No one wants a bad birthday dinner. The worry was pointless. The atmosphere starts in the parking lot where you can hear the country music over the outdoor speakers. The place looks awesome inside. The staff was amazing... and there was a LOT of staff. But everyone was busy and the restaurant was packed. I love the waitlist app they offer, too! Our waitress Kya was AWESOME! The food was AMAZING. My steak was perfect, my husband's as well, and our son actually had the audacity to tell me their chicken was better than mine! I also got to get on a saddle and have everyone give me a big YEEHAW for my birthday... like the whole restaurant. I will be back. I will tell friends. Just do me one favor... do NOT stop the quality you offered here these first few days. You will give Lucky's a run for their money!!
I went for Mother's Day dinner today and used the wait list again. I was seated within 5 minutes of getting there. We had an amazing waitress, Meghan. She ended up thanking us for the good conversations, but she was a blessing to us! Food is still good, but the cactus blossom dressing tasted different this time. Less Zesty, more sweet... wasn't a fan. My steak was perfectly cooked, but my son's was a little overdone. Over all, still one of my favorite places to get a...
Read moreMy wife and I went here and mid January 2024 to remember her mother who had just passed with a celebratory dinner about her life as well as celebrate my wife's birthday. We were giving a piece of chicken that pigeon breast would have been bigger. Happy either a corner or the overall general manager named JD came out yelling and screaming and threw us out. He claimed that we caused his waitstaff to cry. Fat I was told by four different people who work there that I know that nobody want him crying it was JD that was crying. No threats we're made has JD stated they were which again another lie from JD. The nicest thing out of all this is a gentleman watched the screaming shouting of JD. Found me about a week 2 weeks later and presented me with a 200 dollar gift card to Lucky's Steakhouse. And you know what they were nicer there than any place they didn't try to steal everything off the table before you finish. And the management actually seemed to care about the customer unlike Texas Roadhouse. The only way to get me to go back to a Texas Roadhouse and actually be to fire JD. I'd love to be there when it happened because this is somebody who actually has no customer...
Read moreStopped in tonight for the first time since this location opened. We were promptly seated and our host mentioned the last of a specific steak they had and recommended it. Once seated, we waited 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and another 9 minutes to get drinks (one water and one bottled beer). We asked our server about the steak recommendation but she knew nothing about it so no further information was given. We decided to order it since would only be about $23 given the other menu pricing. The waitress was seen only once again during the course of our appetizer and meal. She refilled the water and dropped the check. We were not even half way done eating but she felt the need to say she could take payment immediately if we had cash. The message was clear that she wanted the table cleared so we asked for a box. It was at this time we saw the steak was $36. We asked for price clarification and a manager came over to give us a speech about “hand cut” steaks not being on the menu and priced individually. That they purposely do not offer pricing. The lack of knowledge from the staff and poor quality of the over priced meat with ensure we will...
