Asian Bistro Restaurant — Restaurant in Ferndale

This was the worst Asian food I’ve ever eaten unfortunately. I placed an order through DoorDash. I ordered chicken satay- the chicken came in a container that had a watery consistency of what I think was supposed to be peanut sauce- it was cold and had literally no flavor what so ever. The chicken was extremely thin, had no flavor or seasoning and was chewy. I also ordered the general Tso’s chicken and it was even worse- the “crispy” outer crust was soggy and the chicken had literally no flavor at all. The chicken itself taste freezer burnt and had a consistency of rubber. The broccoli also smelled rancid and looked spoiled- I didn’t even touch it it looked so bad. Never been so disappointed in an order before and writing this review so others won’t make my mistake and so the restaurant can be aware of this extremely poor quality of food. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Employees need to be able to speak and understand English when interacting with customers. I tried explaining to the lady about a Doordash situation and she didn’t understand so she just told me no. That’s fine, but you’ll lost business that way. Learn how to speak English to solve problems.

Don’t you dare accuse me of fraud because you don’t understand doordash’s reimbursement system. When a dasher loses their red card, they are encouraged to pay for the order with their own money and obtain an itemized receipt in order to be reimbursed directly from doordash. That way the customer gets their order and everyone is happy. Report me to Doordash — they will tell you the same...

I ended up getting delivery from Asian Bistro through Doordash however the food quality was so poor noone in my family would eat any of it. We got General Tso's chicken, Pad Thai, Chicken fried rice, and Chicken Satay. The General Tso's was soggy and had little sauce flavor, the chicken in the Pad Thai and fried rice was rubbery and had been boiled rather than fried, the peanut sauce had been watered down leaving my chicken and noodles soaking in an unappealing soup. If I had recieved this food in a restaurant I would have walked out; Doordash failed to reimburse me and I recieved less than half of my bill total in credit.
