Really not a fan of the mead personally. They were not well balanced imo and just all over the place. Really disappointed with the core flight. Either they were way too sweet and acidic or just dry with no real taste. Normally a huge fan of mead but this just didn't hit. (And I'm not comparing this to Schramms which is a totally separate style, I'm comparing this to other easy drinking ciders and meads)
I will say the friends I were with enjoyed their drinks though. They got the other two flights. I didn't sip any of theirs so I might have just chosen poorly.
Although the mead could be personal taste the food truck they brought in for an event was an absolute mess. It took a full hour to make a hoagie and a burger and even then they had to remake it twice. (All we asked was for no cheese, not something crazy).
The people working inside slinging the drinks were polite and nice and quick, even pointing out exactly how we could fit everyone's drinks on a barrel that just happened to be behind us.
Everyone was nice except for the person they brought in to do trivia. He sounded drunk and couldn't pronounce half the questions. Any time people went up to ask for clarification because he just straight asked things wrong or we couldn't hear over the speaker he got angry about it and legit started saying "I don't give a shit. I didn't write these questions". Worst trivia experience we've had anywhere.
The speakers were blown out and a terrible crowd just screaming over each other plus impossible to find a seat. We had to crowd five people around a two seater and people just kept popping in the doorway and standing there hoping someone would leave to the point moving to the food truck or bathrooms was a dance with strangers to find a path. They need to control the flow of people more.
Overall would not personally recommend for a drink but definitely wouldn't recommend...
Read moreI visited today with a plus one. All my friends know that I do not like drinking. I hate the taste of alcohol. I skimmed the menu and selected the following. I was searching for drinks that seemed more fruity (like soda etc) and selected the following.
New Wave Lemonade Mango Sorbet Blood Amulet Punk Lemonade Zombie Killer
I liked everything. Zombie killer is apparently the most popular drink. That was my least favorite out of the 5 - but I still liked it. It had an interesting after taste and I couldn't decide if I truly liked it or not.
I would recommend the options I chose if you also do not like the taste of alcohol, or are not a big drinker. You could sense it was there - but it was not over powering. I really loved 1-4. They had a sparkling fruity taste to it and I would definitely get it again. It was not overpowering at all - which to me is a good thing because again, I do not like the taste of alcohol. They were all light and fruity. I also got everything in the smallest size (5oz), so i could taste a few and wouldn't feel bad if i didn't like it (because I wouldn't drink it).
Another cool thing is that they do not serve food at all. You are allowed to bring in your own food. So you can grab takeout and head over here or just get delivery to the location. That was really cool as well.
I was told that they brew their own drinks and distribute it to local liquor stores, markets etc at that location. That was really cool. I would love to tour that part of the brewery.

Read moreThis'll be my second time here during Board Game Night so my opinion is based on that day. Let me start off by saying that if you bring along the right group, board game night is an insane amount of fun. They provide a TON of really interesting and fun "nerdy" board games, and there's a guy there who knows everything about all of them so if you get stuck you can get help from him.
If you're a fan of cider or Mead then look no further because they have a huge selection and you can order 1oz drinks if you want to try a bunch of them before picking your favorite. They do NOT have food here, but you can bring your own. Last time we had a pizza and a ton of tacos and ate while playing and talking. It was busy last time for sure but if you come with a group you can usually occupy a table to yourselves. We come early just to make sure we are comfortable. The bathrooms are clean too, which is a major plus!
If you're into some cool board games, good drink, and having a chill time with friends, this is a great place. I should add: the board games are technically there every day but they have other events (like trivia night) throughout the week and I'm sure you can play them any day...
