After running out of coffee we brought back from Costa Rica, I stopped in to see if there was something similar, as my husband generally doesnāt like it and is sensitive to caffeine but he did enjoy the coffee we had in CR. At the recommendation of the staff, I purchased the Palo de Rosa whole beans from Columbia, which they said would be light and fruity. The whole beans smelled super fresh when I opened the package. I ground a little more than needed for our first cups and stored it in a small glass container. I opened it this morning and my hubs could smell it in the living room! The coffee was very flavorful and smooth, with no bitterness or burned taste. It also didnāt make him jittery. The flavors were indeed fruity. It was roasted on May 15 and was $22.00 for 300 grams.
