Starbucks — Restaurant in Ferndale

I have always gone to this location and thought the staff was great until my last visit. To the lady with the golf cap working the window, You we're beyond rude to me! All I wanted was to pick up some coffee for my brother and you snapped. I was understanding and gave you my money without being rude back. You definitely did not need to react the way you did. I was nothing but respectful to you even though you were raising your voice at me. Once it was time for me to drive off, I still said have a nice day with a smile and you didn't even respond. You just looked at me quickly and turned your back. My 10 year old made a comment about how rude you are! Your vibe made me very uncomfortable! This wouldn't be the first time you were rude to me. There has been a couple other occasions where you didn't greet us at all. Everyone else is great. They make conversations too! The fact that you made a complaint to corporate and lied saying I argued or yelled to cover your own butt is just childish! SHAME ON YOU!!! I know quite a few people who drive all the way to Bellingham's location just to avoid this one! I will be doing the same! You need more training with your customer service skills because they aren't so great. Or just find...

As I walked in to the shop I was greeted with a smile and immediately ordered my Caramel Brule Coffee and Cranberry Bar. As I waited with vast space for social distancing I was able to look at their seasonal cups and other items which would be great for gifts! Their seasonal coffee flavors were enticing and the tea choices looked yummy. There were free used coffee grounds for gardeners as well as posters for ways to help support the community .

This is the first time I have been so disappointed in my purchases at Starbucks.

The coffee was a new flavor for me so I was excited but I knew right away it was lacking much warmth. I couldn't taste the "flavor" and it just wasn't sweet. Unfortunately I didn't like the Cranberry bar either. The icing was extremely thick and WAY too sweet while lacking flavor. Rather than being like a cream cheese base it was more like a cake icing. I’m new to Washington and Live in Ferndale. I moved here from Hawaii. Spent my entire life in Hawaii. Our coffee shops are way different there. I came to this location not expecting much other than a coffee. I am beyond surprised. The people here are so friendly kindest people I’ve met so far in my travels. The managers and all the staff are so amazing. They welcome you with bright cheery big beautiful smiles and a wonderful Hello welcome. The blond chick is especially wonderful In my book. She gave me a free coffee and in my world I could use a free coffee. It made my entire month. She is also pretty cute. Out of my league but worth checking out over coffee. I tend to stay here all day and I hope I don’t over stay. I don’t like to be a bother but seems like they don’t mind. I love the fact all the tables have plugs and the inside has free WiFi.
