The positives: Ice cream truly is as good as people say it is. Yum! Also, our scoops were HUGE. Negatives: Pretty sure the man who served us was the owner, Steve. He was not helpful at all when I stated it was my first time there and when I couldn't find the toppings options he just peered over the counter with his notepad as if to tell me to hurry up. This would have been an opportune moment as an employee (and I'd presume owner) to politely point to where the toppings were. Instead, I felt rushed and uncomfortable here. This is the perfect little ice cream shop. The ice cream is fresh and it's not like any ice cream I've had anywhere else. Mint chocolate chip is my favorite ice cream and this place has the best mint chocolate chip. Next time I'm going to have to do mint chocolate chip with Oreo toppings as I bet that would be really good. The owner is very kind and respectful and the workers are always kind and respectful as well. If you grew up in the '90s and early 2000s It gives me a kind of nostalgia vibe for the environment inside. This is truly a delicious mom & pop shop out in a small city. For anyone that happens to be out here or just passing through, it’s definitely worthwhile. The ice cream is creamy, rich, freshly-made onsite & overall delectable (without being overly sweet). The ice cream was really enjoyable with its flavor profiles, its clear they make it here. They also sell cakes and ice cream cookie sandwiches. Did I mention you can buy apple pie a la mode!!! The service was prompt, attentive and amicable. The only recommendation I would make is to update the place a bit & clean the restrooms better so the store reflects the amazing nature this business really is! Come support this local business...
