I had a burrito half steak, half barbacoa, brown rice, black beans, etc ...it was pretty good and very filling. I've never walked away from here hungry after ordering one item. Prices are reasonable for what you're getting and the sauces are pretty decent. I usually have lime and Cholula and if you're unsure some staff members can usually throw you some tips about the sauces. The restaurant itself isn't anything special but it doesn't need to be. They're not selling you an all encompassing dining experience. They're selling good food at a decent price and quick service.

This has become one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. You can build your own burrito. I put so much toppings on mine it takes a skilled person to role it up. Over the last year I've only had 1 person tear my burrito. Good service and employees. When I eat there next I'll take a picture. Update I took my nephew to eat here over the weekend and we both made a huge burrito! The young lady working with ease rolled both up. No sweat! I love this place!

The food is good. Just keep an eye on the sauce they add. It was a little too much sweet habanero sauce. Outside that it was good. Everyone enjoyed their food. That's a rarity. You can customize your burrito or bowl. Dad has a limited diet and he was able to make a bowl. Service was good. The last taking the order was helpful and courteous. Updated 2025: When I want a protein packed couple of meals to tide me over for a weekend, I first look to Hot Heads. Michael G was extremely helpful during my last visit. I guess the chorizo got too hot during the prep and charred the meat, and he suggested a different protein or I could wait for a new batch. I appreciate him speaking up, and he was quick to tell me about the sweet habanero sauce being a great choice. He mentioned they sell it by the bottle, and I immediately had to get one to go. The establishment goes through its fair share of clientele changes (younger workers), but the taste and amount of food still beats other local burrito chains, IMHO.

The first time I visited, I was astonished by their variety of food selections you could add to their burrito bowl. I've visited their competition for years, but nothing compares to the amount of proteins and toppings you can add. The sauces are a huge selling point for me (I love sweet habanero), and you can freely add toppings to your order of queso or your quesadilla. And I love Hawaiian BBQ, but I cannot find it in this state; I really loved chicken teriyaki tacos out in CA, and guess what? They make them here. I'm sold (and easy to please)....

Me and my wife stopped in for some tacos at the Findlay Ohio store. I ordered a few craft tacos off the menu. Employee looked at me like I had worms crawling out of my ears..he said you create your own. I said I know I want the sweet habanero chicken craft taco. Which is part of there craft taco menu, has all the ingredients listed. So I had to read the ingredients of the board to him three times. Than I get a pop and the ice machine isn't working so I ask is there something wrong that I can't get ice..girl says very snarky, it's broke. Than the other taco I ordered had jalapeno ranch..which they were out of which was fine she says we are making some and will bring it out to you. I wait 15 minutes so I bring my taco to the register and ask what's going on. She said she forgot about me. So I give her the taco and ask for a fresh one because it's cold after the long wait. She says another taco? I said no a replacement and she rolled her eyes at me. What a terrible experience..we love hothead just...

I like eating here, but even more as of lately, I am really disappointed in the inconsistent portions. There are days I get a single serving of chicken, and others that I get a double portion that ends up being as much (little) as a single portion that I pay more for. I ate there today and there was hardly any rice, and the "double chicken" was a very insignificant portion. I don't know if expectations of the past have set the bar too high, but I have gone from a regular who ate here once a week to once every couple months.

UPDATE Why is it when I get a single portion of meat, i get 1 heaping scoop, but when i order double meat, they skimp on the scoops. This happened again today when i was there...both scoops were barely at cup level VS when i order one scoop, i get an overflowing cup. this is so frustrating. i like these burritos so much, but am so frustrated at the...
