Casa Fiesta — Restaurant in Findlay

Okay so tonight was the WORST experience I have ever had here ..we have eaten at this restaurant for years and tonight we go in with a group of nine sit down and wait..and wait then the waitress comes over takes out drink order and leaves...some other lady brings out the chips and salsa and we wait and we wait a good 7 mine pass until out waitress comes back with our drinks..and we proceed to order.. I order my meal and start my conversation the same as I do at any restaurant ... IM SEVERELY ALLERGIC TO SHELLFISH PLEASE KEEP ALL OF MY FOOD AWAY FROM ANY SHELLFISH ( this was not said in a yelling voice but a very firm voice as the shellfish could/will kill me)..the waitress replies with okay..so all of the tables food comes out except mine..no big deal right their prolly cooking my food seperate had to heat up a grill ya know..I'm fine with waiting..so I wait and I wait and at this point half of my family is almost finished eating when we indeed finally get our waitress' attention to tell her I never received meal..she apologises and goes to the back comes out 5 minutes later with my meal...she then leaves quickly so I flag her down again to ask for silverware..my bad should have done that before but I didn't..as I take a bite of my beans and rice, I'm staring at my chicken fixture and something just doesn't look right..and my anxiety starts to kick on when I realise that piece of weird looking chicken is actually shrimp...now as uneasy as I am at this point I want no food...please don't offer to cook me anything else..they look at me like it's not a big deal...so my husband says you could have killed her do you understand how serious this is and they replied with" we take 5.00 off your bill" now excuse me but WTH is 5 dollars when you could have literally killed me...all I wanted was them to understand that some allergies are very seriously even life threatening like mine...and for you to brush me off like it wasn't a big deal means we will not be back..I'm sorry for this..but I don't wanna do business with a place who treats it's...

Ok. I don’t write a lot of reviews either good or bad. I especially don’t write one after a single “bad” experience (unless it’s horribly bad) as I believe any restaurant is bound to have an “off day” from time to time. That being said, I have now been to this establishment on a handful of occasions for dinner and sadly the experience remains the same. First the Pro: the wait staff had always been friendly and we have never had rude service. Restaurant appears to be reasonably clean. Large selection on the menu and the food is decent(see cons for more critique). Sadly that’s all I have for Pros. Now the Cons: first and foremost the biggest complaint I have is the wait. We typically have to wait at our seat for a while before anyone comes by to take a drink order, then you wait some more. Usually by the time you begin to wonder if they forgot about you is when your drinks show up (fountain drinks too)’. Then you wait some more until they come take your order. The food usually takes a while to come out as well, at least compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. The food itself is decent, however it is hardly worth the wait. I’ve tried a few different meals and each has been edible but underwhelming at the same time. For instance, today I had #53 - Tacos Carne Asada. It came out with with 3 corn tortilla shells packed with chunks of beef. Although the beef was good it lacked seasoning and was kind of on the dry side. On the side was a scoop of pico and a boat or refried beans, that’s it. No cheese, no sauce or anything. Was pretty plain and bland not to mention more expensive than other locations in town. To sum this up, I do not plan on returning to this place even if someone invites me to tag along, I can put up with the so-so food but I just don’t have the patience to wait an hour or so it takes...

This was our second time eating here, we sat at the bar and had the manager as our bartender. The restaurant was not busy, especially for it being 6:00 on a Saturday evening. The manager took and served us our drinks, took our food orders, and then we did not have service from any employee from that point on. No one even checked to see if our food was good (I’ve waitressed and bartended for a few years, the rule is “2 bites 2 minutes”... after either 2 bites or 2 minutes since you have delivered the food, you then check on your guests), after finishing eating, we then waited 15-20 minutes, and still no waiter/waitress spoke to us. I did see at least 2 employees look at us while we had empty drinks, and empty plates pushed away from us, but never attempted to check on us, or even acknowledge us for that matter. Finally we had to ask the hostess to get our bartender (the manager) who then sent our check out with another waitress. We did not ask for the check, we asked for the bartender, and no other drinks were offered to us, we were not asked how our food was, never got offered a togo box, nothing. We paid and left, and will NOT be back. I understand that everyone has an off day, but we were blantenly ignored. I typically am not one to be overly picky about service within a restaurant, but this was beyond ridiculous and has given us a terrible experience that will cause us to not return, which is sad considering how close this...
